Music: Let's just say I was way too young when I saw The Crow, and those musics imprinted on me like a baby duck. Also new wave/darkwave, 90s alt, 90s/00s eurodance and trance, zydeco (yes, really), and pre-1999 country. And a fuckton of other things, but those are my mainstays. I enjoy several musicians that probably aren't Old People Music such as Lindi Ortega, The Carolina Chocolate Drops, Chappell Roan, and Phoebe Bridgers for starters. Music suggestions and playlist trades make me happy, so chat me up!

Hobbies: karaoke, yelling at stupid YouTube videos with my husband, nature walks, and - ostensibly -reading and writing

Pizza: a very specific barbecue chicken pizza from a place that sadly no longer exists. In its absence... Bacon and pineapple, or pepperoni if I'm sharing with someone that's a weenie about putting fruit on pizza

Ice cream: Mint chocolate chip or matcha

Animal: Wallabies, Fennec foxes, and sweary parrots

Drink (alcoholic): Aperol spritz or a mezcal margarita

Drink (non-alcoholic): hot chai, with honey, no milk, brewed strong enough to stand a spoon in it. Or an iced matcha latte with strawberry.

yeah the guy who invented them made incredibly precise infusion pumps (as opposed to gravity fed ivs) which not only meant they could give medications to teeny tiny babies safely, it's also used for insulin pumps and portable dialysis machines. the key element is that it's a peristaltic pump so the liquid stays in sterile tubing for safety

No Sasquatch sightings as of yet, but stunning mountain views with multiple waterfalls are practically a dime a dozen. Just an absurdly beautiful place. Also, my circadian rhythms are gonna be absolutely fucked to hell.

Looks like I'm gonna be carving out time on this cruise not just to finally finish a couple chapters of my fic, but to start applying for some new jobs. I'm over the current situation. If anyone's got a line on remote patient services jobs, let me know. Not sure if I can get a more favorable pay-to-bullshit ratio or not, but it'd be hard to find worse.
