Making their breakup official, Brown Eyed Girls′ Gain and 2AM′s Jo Kwon sold their couple rings in an auction on KBS′ Happy Together. Reuniting after four years since the end of their onscreen marriage on MBC′s We Got Married, Gain and Jo Kwon appeared as guests on Happy Together in the ′Dangerous Some′ special.
For the program′s new segment, ′Night Store,′ Gain and Jo Kwon brought out their couple rings from We Got Married, making a clean break from the onscreen relationship. "These are the couple rings that we wore when we received so much love from the entire nation as Adam Couple. But recently, they lost their functions. They′re still very special items for us, and because we wore them when we received so much love, we wanted to share the good energy, so we brought it out today." As the auction for the rings began, Jo Kwon stated, "The feeling right now is more weird than when we filmed the last episode of We Got Married. It feels like it′s really over." Gain even participated in the auction in an effort to have her ring come back to her. The episode will air on May 7.

[NEWS] Jo Kwon assures fans that the members of 2AM will always support one another
Singer Jo Kwon wrote a very long, heartfelt letter to fans of 2AM who may seem concerned at the moment about the group promotions with the news of Seulong and Jinwoon's departure from JYP Entertainment following their contract expirations.
He wrote via the fan cafe on March 26 (abridged version), "Every day since last year, we've greatly been worried and immersed in thoughts about the contract renewal for the four of us. During that time, every single day was extremely exhausting and difficult to the point I can't even speak of it now.
"I only had my eyes set on 2AM for the first chapter of my life; I was worried about how the fans who followed us up to now wouldn't know what to do because of the unbelievable betrayal and shock, and my heart hurt.
"The four of us definitely always ranked 2AM at 0 [even before 1]. Whether it's at the beginning or in present time, 2AM is always happening. I'm telling you this is not the end.”
In relation to the problem with the agencies, Jo Kwon stated, "I know how much the fans' hearts must have heart because of our movements from Cube to JYP to Big Hit to JYP. The members were able to have more sincere conversations and to respect and understand one another's thoughts and visions. As always, we support one another. We have our reasons that are personal and our reasons for 2AM, and there are so many reasons and situations left on the table. Dealing with those aspects is extremely difficult,"and then apologized for causing a tremendous mental breakdown when the members all moved to separate agencies.
"[Even though] it's said people do not know what will happen in the future, I promise that the four of us will watch over ourselves in the same place and do our best," he wrote."Because of today's decision, a lot of things happened and in order for there to be no regrets, I will work hard while waiting for brighter days to come."

[NEWS] JYP Entertainment states 2AM has not officially disbanded
JYP Entertainment has released a short statement following the news that the 2AMmembers had parted ways.
Just moments ago, reports revealed that half of 2AM had not renewed their contracts with JYP Entertainment (herein JYPE), virtually disbanding the group as the members went their separate ways.
With their contracts ending in February 2015, members Seulong and Jinwoon opted not to renew with JYPE while Jokwon chose to stay with the agency. Changmin‘s contract, however, does not expire until July. Seulong signed with SidusHQ to further his career as an actor, while Jinwoon is nearing the end stages of signing with Yoon Jong Shin‘s agency Mystic Entertainment, which will allow him to focus on both his acting and music career.
On March 26th, JYP Entertainment spoke to Joy News 24 and said, “2AM member Jokwon has decided to remain in JYP Entertainment. Im Seulong and Jung Jinwoon has informed the agency that they will move to another agency, and JYPE respects their decision.”
With the leave of two members, 2AM could technically be classified as disbanded. However, JYPE further commented, “It’s not an official disbanding. The members are like family to each other. Although the agencies are different, as long as they want to they will stay as 2AM.”
The statement gives further hope to fans about seeing the four members reunite on stage in the future. This brings to mind the reunion and comebacks of Shinhwa, whose career as a group began in 1998, with the members making a comeback together despite being under different agencies after four years of hiatus.
2AM debuted on July 11, 2008 with “This Song,” and has been well-received over the past seven years as both a dance and ballad idol group.

[NEWS] 2AM's contract expires, Jo Kwon to stay while Seulong and Jinwoon leave + Rep comments on possibility of group activities
Unfortunately, it's come to light that the 2AM members' contracts with JYP Entertainment have expired (with the exception of Changmin, who has 6 months left still).
With his contract expiration, Jo Kwon decided to renew with the agency, but Seulongand Jinwoon have decided to leave.
JYPE rep revealed to Newsen, "Jo Kwon has recently decided to remain at JYP, while Seulong decided to go to SidusHQ. Jinwoon is currently negotiating a contract withMystic Entertainment."
So oes this mean this is the end of 2AM? To that question, the rep responded, "Seulong and Jinwoon both decided to head to different agencies to take on new challenges and changes. As Jo Kwon has been carrying out roles in musicals, he'll continue focusing on singing and musicals... This was all wrapped up with no ill feelings between the members. It seems they'll all be focusing on their individual activities for the time being, but because the members have a great relationship and are also on good terms with JYP, if the conditions and requirements are right, there is the possibility that they can carry on group activities. So it's not that they've officially ended group activities."
So rest assured fans, 2AM have not disbanded! We may be seeing individual activities from them for now, but like the rep revealed, the group is open to promoting together if the timing is right. We hope that timing will be sooner than expected, but in the meantime, let's wish each member the best of luck on their new challenges!
