Nomadic Legacy

Out of all the Gyms in Hoenn, Jinora's was probably the one that was most frequently deserted. The tower in which she held her battles was as sturdy as a fortress, but it guarded nothing when the airbender went on one of her frequent vacations.

They were considered vacations, but the girl considered traveling one of her most important activities. She wanted to somehow uphold the nomadic legacy of her people, and she did this by traveling, going everywhere she could.

Her father would have scolded her for going alone, but she knew that she was far from solitary.

The girl slept on the back of her Altaria, exhausted from the day's hike, completely oblivious to her surroundings...

Character Name: Jinora

Age: 14

Job: Gym Leader; Coordinator

Location: Fortree City

Background: Jinora was born to Tenzin and Pema, who lived in a city far away from Hoenn. She was the eldest sibling, with three younger siblings. She left home at the age of ten, like many other young trainers, to become a Pokemon Master. She didn't succeed, but she certainly had some great adventures as a result. When she turned 13, she was offered the position of Gym leader at the Fortree Gym, and she accepted. Despite her position, she is away from her Gym quite often and travels the regions, an homage to her Air Nomad roots. She enjoys participating in Contests as well.

Personality: Jinora is a relatively easy-going girl. She likes to make the best of circumstances and is very curious about the world. She loves reading and understanding everything. She has a caring heart and is good with children and baby Pokemon. She is peaceful; while she enjoys the competition of battles, she finds them to be an exercise in learning about her opponent and tries to end it with as few injuries as possible.
