"Years..." The knight thought as she climbed into the mouth of a cave, a gaping wound in the side of the mountain she had spent the last three days scaling. Her armor was scuffed, dented and dirty from years of travel, years of searching, but her quest was finally coming to an end
The princess had been kidnapped over seven years ago now. Her sworn duty, the woman she lived for, was stolen away in the clutches of a demon of scale and fire and fury. The knight still remembered the blistering wind that stole the breath from her lungs as the dragon swooped low, snatching her fair princess right from under her nose
"Seven years..." The knight thought as she drew her blade, silver and polished, shining in the dim light of the cave opening. Her focus was absolute; her princess was in this cave, she was sure of it. She had tracked the great beast across the continent, abandoning her duties as a knight to save her sworn charge, despite everyone being convinced that the princess saw her end that night. Dark gloom welcomed her as she cautiously made her way into the heart of the mountain, resolute in her duty, determined to find the princess
"Or what's left of her..." The knight shook the traitorous thoughts from her mind, cold claws wrapped around her heart as she moved deeper and deeper into the cold mountain. She had spent her whole life as the princess's charge, her only reason for life to keep the princess safe. They met when they were children, and for the knight's whole life the princess was her whole life. Everyone else might give up on the princess, but the knight would walk into the jaws of hell to save her soul. She ventured deeper into the cave
All she could hear was her cautious breathing and the scrape of her boots on the stone floor as she entered a large cavern, the walls opening up into a large, circular room. She stopped, dumbfounded for a moment as she took in the vision before her. Vast stores of gold, silver, precious gems and ancient holy weapons rose high against the chamber walls, glittering and glinting in the dim light, surrounding a semicircle of clear floor in the center. Large oval stones formed a loose ring holding back the treasures from a nest of rich silk and torn animal hide in the middle. And right there, right in the dead center of the nest was the princess's tiara, unmistakable with its delicate looping silver in the shape of an owl's face, slightly worn with age. The knight rushed forward, grasping the small crown with reverence as relief flooded her heart, her only thoughts being "She's here, she was here, I'm so close..."
"You should probably put that down." The knight whipped around, blade drawn in a defensive stance, every muscle trembling with energy, and stopped cold. It was her. Her princess was here, after all these years. She would recognize that voice anywhere, she followed it for years in her dreams, and she finally, finally found her. The knight took a trembling step forward, hardly believing her ears, squinting in the dark to try to make out her charge, her duty, her life-
The knight froze as she took in what the years had done to her princess. Her golden hair was a ragged, dirty mess, the short ends charred black. One of her eyes was missing, a messy scar marring the left side of her face. Her skin was a mess of bruises, some yellow and faded, others purple and new, and she was completely naked. The knight couldn't help but let her gaze flicker over the princess, noting the way she had gained a huge amount of weight in the middle, and the way her breasts hung swollen and heavy down to her navel. She took a step back from the knight, her body jiggling with the movement, breasts swaying in front of her. She was different, so different, but it was her voice, her lips, her face...
"Mistress doesn't like it when outsiders touch its treasures." The princess cautioned, gesturing to the tiara still in the knight's hand, who instinctively dropped the piece of silver craftsmanship without a second thought. The knight was about to step forward and hug secure the princess when a slithering sound alerted her to danger from the side. With practiced, fluid motion the knight swung around, putting herself and her sword between the princess and the threat clambering over the mountain of treasure in front of them
Long and serpentine, the small dragon was the size of a dog, with gangly limbs and a bony spine. It shrieked at the knight, crouching and spreading its small wings menacingly. Before the knight could take a single step forward her princess was walking past her, cooing at the small dragon, opening her arms welcomingly. The small dragon launched itself at the princess, claws roughly grabbing onto her shoulders, bony tail lashing back and forth, sticking the back of the princess's legs. The knight cried out in horror as the dragonette opened its jaws wide, clamping down hard on the princess's tit and suckling greedily. The knight watched the princess shiver at the bite, small trickles of blood dribbling from the puncture wounds to mix with the milk spilling from the baby dragon's mouth. The princess sighed, adjusting the baby in her arms before turning back to the knight with pride in her eye
"This one's the youngest, the others are out learning how to hunt with Mistress." She turned dreamily to the stones (which the knight realized with mounting horror were eggs) surrounding the nest, a proud smile gracing her chapped lips. "The others will start hatching next summer. My Mistress will be so happy with me..." She pet and scratched the dragonette drinking from her breast, the beast giving little purrs of satisfaction as it filled its belly. The knight was shaken, confused and scared for her princess, and for her state of mind
"Princess, I need to get you home-" Darkness swallowed her vision as she's plucked from the floor, the knight's arms pinned to her sides, rough shaking forcing her to drop her sword. Hot, wet breath made the knight cough as she felt her armor warp and crack under the pressure surrounding her. She felt herself tilt back, sliding back and down, powerful muscles squeezing all around her. Burning heat made her feel like she was being boiled inside of her armor before she slid all the way down, coming to a surprisingly gentle stop, laying on her back in a tight, wet chamber. Shock stole the fight from the knight as she laid there, stunned
She couldn't hear anything other than the organic noises around her, growls and wet snarls shaking her as she tried to move, tried to push out against what just happened to her. For a moment she felt something push against her from the outside, and for the first time in her life the knight screamed, desperate for her princess to help her, for her princess to remember her, for her princess to save her...
The dragon curled protectively around its broodmother, long forked tongue flicking out to tickle her ears. Her sweet, obedient toy curled up against its stomach, pushing against its swollen midsection before settling down, gazing happily up at the dragon as the babe detached with a squawk, milk and blood dripping onto the broodmother's soft stomach. It would take time for the clutch to be fully grown, ready to scour the lands, and the dragon was sure its toy would continue being the best nestkeeper it could ever ask for
