Text: Charlotte, how in the hell are ya?
Text: Busy. You?
Text: Pretty good but busy. Grady broke his leg at school so he’s been extra whiny
[Text] Yikes!
Text: How are the kids?
[Text] Good. Mason is trying out for a private school next week and Lydia is about to turn three.
Text: Exciting! Grady goes to the public school near our house, I mean with an interns salary I can’t afford much.
[Text] Don’t worry, you won’t be an intern forever. And most private schools offer scholarships to gifted children, which is what Mason’s trying out for first. He asked to go, we were fine with him being in the public school system.
Text: Oh I know. The public system is good, though. I really can’t complain. Grady likes it and that’s all that counts, really.
[Text] Exactly. And if Mason gets in, it means Lydia can go to their Montessori program, which is something Coop and i have been wanting her to go to when she turns three anyway.
Text: It would be amazing for her! Grady was in a private school back home until we had a little bit of a financial hiccup. He likes this school better though.
