Fancy notes always help me study. Does anyone else find that rewriting notes helps them?
Whenever I’m taking notes, the first time I take them I call them “sloppy notes” where I try to just focus on getting everything out of the reading or lecture I can instead of making them pretty. After initially taking them, I go back in and reread them and write in big ideas and questions I have in the margins so I can ask my professor later.
One of the most important things I think I do while studying/writing notes is I annotate my readings before I write the notes. This helps me process the readings instead of reading just to take notes!
Firs thing I do while studying for a class is I write out all of the readings I need to do and then do them A WEEK IN ADVANCE! It may seem like a lot on the forefront but it’s worth it in the end! I start at least a week before the semester starts and read and take the notes of the first chapter for my classes that I have books for. Then the week that the reading is due I reread the section once and then reread the notes every night that week.
this is the offical ‘i care’ symbol this is how it works: basically you reblog this and your followers know that you care and that they can message you about anything anon or not and you will reply back or at least look at there message. if you care about your followers please reblog
You can always message me!
Who wants me to post about how I study/study tips?
One last final for the summer!🎉

If you are a studyblr, langblr, post bujo stuff... anything of that nature reblog this. My feed is dry!
ok so apparently not a lot of ppl know to do this when ‘reviewing notes’ but
look at section of notes
look away from section of notes
explain section of notes
check if explanation was correct
identify mistakes/gaps
recite correction for each mistake/gap
repeat until no mistakes
gotta practice recalling the info instead of just acknowledging its correctness
^This is super important.
Just taking notes, attending class and reading through your textbook isn’t enough.
You need to memorize it and fully understand it.
If you can properly teach the material to someone else, then you have understood the information.
Thought this was super important. Loved the-distracted-students point. Being able to teach everything you learn to someone means you have fully learned.
Last minute studying! Does anyone else study with a candle to calm down?
I have my biology midterm this morning, my HDFS final this afternoon, and my statistic final tomorrow.
