âGuess whoâs still alive?â
teme-kun started following you
âAh, weâve got another one.â Thatâs four sheâs met now.

// Is Esu suddenly three feet tall, or is Ginyu just 9 feet tall? ono
[[ sheâs the same height, Ginyu just has a masssssive height difference on her.]]
// Itâs just deadmanwonderland with the aâs replaced with xâs.
[[ that makes it a little easier but all the xâs @_@]]

This was more like it! A knowing smirk took over the Captainâs face. She simply just wasnât fast enough to land a hit! Not like that!
Was she really keeping up with her training? Was the only thought on his mind. His entire being would seemingly vanish as he moved forward to match the âsoldierâ. Rapid movement was common to any fighter, she had to be familiar with it. Is she MOCKING ME!? The GREAT Captain Ginyu!?Â
âYouâre gonna have to do BETTER THAN THAT, KID!â
He had moved to parry her strike, utilizing an upward motion and his thick forearm. If things went his way, itâd either knock her off balance, or pin her arm in place. Perfect for the crushing straight of a bodyblow heading her way, an attempt to force her on the defensive.
She wanted to be obvious. She wanted him to believe he could fend her off easy, so heâd drop his guard. He was playing right into her plan.
She keeps her lips curled back, and her body moving forward, making impact with his arm. No signs of stopping, right until he came forward.
That tail of hers was incredibly prehensile. It was thick, tight muscle wound over flexible bone, and the first chance it got it wound tightly around Ginyuâs thick arm, and Esu allowed the rest of her body to dangle freely and follow opposite Ginyuâs momentum, swinging the smaller alien right around to his backside.
She lets go at the height of the swing, landing firmly on her feet and immediately charging forward, this time falling into a slide aimed right for his back right foot.
The Captain laughed, laughed HYSTERICALLY. He even arched backwards, hands proudly on his hips. Heâd be lying if he knew itâd connect, she was expected to avoid it but that is what made it so funny! Maybe a bit shameful, that attack couldnât have been more telegraphed! Slow reactions arenât the Forceâs style!
Did she ruin the floor? She did!
âI hope you know thatâs cominâ out of your paycheck.â He pointed to the now ruined floor, well ruined in his eyes! If its not perfect its no good! âDidnât break your jaw? Iâm not breaking your bones and giving you a FREE DAY OFF! And you say youâre Ginyu quality!? ATTACK ME!âÂ
He slid his right foot back, firmly planting it, the rest of his body falling into all the right places for a proper combat stance.
âAnd letâs keep it civil! NO reason to damage the station or get anyone KILLED! Lets just say, no using any energy. Anâ old fashioned BRAWL!â Ginyu chuckled, eager to really test her mettle.

âYou act as if I place any importance on that paycheck...â she adds, a glint in her eyes, trained on him for any further movements. She didnât need it, she was here to fight, the paycheck was just an odd bonus. Maybe one day when she really moved off Earth sheâd be a proper mercenary, but now this was a fun job.
Hearing him demand her to attack him is all she couldâve asked for, and thatâs an order sheâll always eagerly follow. Her hackles lift, the rest of her thick hair seemingly floating for a moment as she charged with quick and nimble footsteps, strong calves lifting her into the air as she reels back a punch.
Well she had her chance. Ginyu relaxed for only a moment, lowering his fist and regaining his composure.
He exhaled, breathed in, and yelled out a growl! Such vocalization was the only warning sheâd get before he launched a textbook Ginyu Force disciplinary straight, all the force of that beefy build of his behind it (towards that impudent face, naturally.)
Sheâs not nearly as fast as she thinks she is.
Which is unfortunate.
All the signs are there. Â The sudden, uncharacteristic relaxation. The breath in preparation, the growl, but by the time sheâs flinched and tried to ready herself, heâs landed his hit squarely where intended, sending her much smaller body sliding harshly against the ground, digging up the odd floor tile as she struggles to hold on to halt her trajectory.
She lands in a slump.
And stays there for four seconds, before sheâs up feet first, tail next, arms following and head snapping up last. She rubs at her cheek with her gloved hand, and presses down, testing the damage heâd caused.
Thereâs a brief spit-up of a mixture of blood and saliva-- she bit her cheek, damnit, before she turns her gaze to Ginyu once more.
Mad? Oh no, she wasnât mad at all. She was delighted.
âTry hitting a little harder, Captain,â she drawls the honorific sarcastically. âDidnât break my jaw.â
âThatâs too bad, I love it. Feel like I could just, dunno, live in the water if I could.â Heh, most humans. Mika flashed their teeth in a grin while replying. âYeah, good for sightseeing too.â
âYour human physiology is incompatible for life underwater.â She also knew it was a figure of speech, but egh, humans.Â
At that, Esu narrowed her eyes. Of course, staring at other humans.
âTalk about a lack of enthusiasm. Guess I should be used to that by now, huh? But Iâm not! Its DEPRESSING! And you better not be lying! I donât like liars! Donât you turn away from me!â
Ginyu grit his teeth. A lack of enthusiasm was one thing but lack of respect was a whole different game. Nothing irked the Captain more than that, he clenched his fist, fighting the urge to take a swing.
âYou LOOK! AT YOUR CAPTAIN! WHEN YOU! ARE BEING ADDRESSED!â
Ginyu should also know by now that Esu doesnât take kindly to that tone, or the threat of authority, either. An issue, especially in areas where she wasnât the active authority herself and a refusal to listen got her in trouble.
She only narrows her eyes, deciding to do a terrible thing and warn her captain of her disapproval with a curl of her lips.Â
He shouldâve taken that swing. She wouldâve loved to brawl in the hallway.
âReally.â What an interesting tiny person. Mika still didnât get much about them but it was kind of fun poking at Esu. âSo no ocean then? Youâre pretty ectothermic.â
âNever liked swimming.â She was good for short dives from hundreds of feet in the air...but that was about it. Body wasnât really built for it.
âIâm guessing like most humans you visit the beach to swim, then.â
âItâs beach season.â Warmer weather » beach » women in swimsuits. Mika was ready. âWait, do you go to beaches..?âÂ
âBeaches are only good for soaking up the heat through the sand.â Damn sand was hotter than the sunlight coming down.Â
âTheyâre shorts! And you should be wearinâ âem! Youâve got STRONG legs donât YA!? Cut a nice tail hole too! When you strike a pose itâll be damn well glorious.â He folded his arms, raising a brow at his IMPUDENT and SHORT, comrade. âSay, have you been keeping up on your training? And your form?â
âStrong legs Iâd rather kick people with.â Seriously, she wouldnât be caught dead in a pair of shorts. She had a style and she stuck to it.
But the mentioning of the posing has her gagging, turning her face away from him. Of course thatâs all she was gonna get with Ginyu, the man was practically married to the art of ridiculous poses.Â
âYeah yeah, to both.â She simply dismisses the questions with a wave.Â
âThe best part about that is, SHORTS WEATHER! But if you ask me, any kind of weather is shorts weather.â
âSays the man who wears speedos year round.â Thereâs a scoff, indignant, and wholly unpleased. She wasnât going to run around just showing her legs off like that.
âTempâs finally rising.â
"Is that real?" She's pointing at your eyes, that's one way to get answers.
"Itâs an incredibly vivid hallucination." People and their dumb questions.
