Aesthetics for my novel. If I ever write it. Thomas, Geraldine and Lou are my main OCs. It takes place in New Orleans.

Berlin, Jan. 1922

My darling, my star, 

Through my darkest nights, your memory still shines as bright. Is it not a pity that I love you more when I am away, than I hated you when you were close ? Berlin is beautiful and I hear your sweet accent in every voice that speaks to me. I met a delicious girl at the theater, a young comedian. She is so very talented and I am very fond of her, I believe you would too. I wonder what it is about German girls, that makes me fall for them ? Perhaps is it just that they remind me of you. 

The years are so long and your absence so raw, it still devours every inch of me - I try not to think too much but you know how I am when it comes to thinking, do you not ? Another letter that you will never read, but I needed to put down in words the way you still make me feel. I miss you badly, my sweet, my tender love.
