Ledesia

Eureka! Ledesia is a town of science built for scientists and other creative types to settle in and come up with the crazy inventions and kooky ideas that just may change the world! Of course, not all inventions work the first few times around and not all ideas are the best ones, but the town is quite forgiving for such little mishaps as blowing up part of the research department. Experiments need a bit of tinkering, after all! If only the townsfolk realized that perhaps they were part of a grand experiment themselves...

With your traits mod, do pre-mades get traits picked by us or did you pre-pick or will they be randomized?

Ah! :D You mean my trait list? I'm afraid (as cool as it would be) that it isn't a mod, but just a random generator that spits out traits for you to use! I keep meaning to redesign it too, I've seen some amazing variations going around of trait generators! 

Because it is a generator, you roll and assign traits to all of your Sims if you would like to or not! :D Townies, playables, NPCs and the rest included!

Since moving to Ledesia the Lusher girls have struggled to catch-up with their peers in school. It hasn't been easy, but who can blame them? One second they are doing basic maths, the next they're doing organic chemistry and physics. 

Despite her usually lazy ways, Cinnamon threw herself into trying to complete all her homework, though not really out of any sense of scholarship. She has been warned by her parents that if she does badly in school she will have to quit her part-time job working at Sprouted! with Natalie Greenheart. Although she didn't think she had it in her, Cinnamon has come to love her job and is determined to keep it. Even if that means doing homework. 

Noma's school problems come from a much different source. Moving to a new town and being thrown into a new class with strangers has brought out an unexpected line of shyness in the young girl.

Her parents have noticed how she hadn't made any close friends just yet, though, and have discussed working harder to see that she can spend more time with people her age to help her adjust to the new town. Unfortunately that means either Caleb or Cicely will have to find the time and energy to take their middle child out for play-dates, and that doesn't look like it will happen any time soon...

Things over at the Sango household were reaching a rather chaotic level - kitchen fires, endless howling of baby puppies trying out their lungs, half-eaten newspapers, several puddles of puppy pee... 

More than once Jessica questioned her decision to breed her corgis as part of her life's passion, but after the exhaustion had reached a point of numbness she took comfort in the puppies adorable tiny toes and friendly faces. 

As a side note, after starting the first household fire in Ledesia, Erica Eureka announced that free Fire Safety courses would be offered at the local library on a regular basis.

With the growing success of their business the relationship between roommates Felicity Tweed and Louise Stewart was growing better each day. Although they hadn't been sure if they would become friends at first (well, Louise had her doubts, but she always did about most things in life) both were relieved that they were able to settle into an excellent friendship despite their many differences.

I do indeed! :D I love my camera mod! I love it so much... I can't quite remember which one it is. I'm PRETTY sure it is from the many camera mods available over at Mod the SIms 2!

Despite the success of LEAF Designs Felicity realized she was beginning to become quite depressed. Perhaps living for nothing but the success of your business was a suitable lifestyle for some people - namely, her business partner Louise - but Felicity dreamed of a life that had a little more intimacy, romance, and friendship involved. 

She had bumped into a woman named Wind Blossom a few days after moving to Ledesia and hadn't been able to get her out of her mind since. After months of playing phone tag the two finally began talking - at 11PM every night, after Wind Blossom got home from work. It turned out they had a lot in common and quickly became good friends. 

Felicity was quite interested in seeing if something more than friends could be made of this relationship, but Wind Blossom seemed hesitant. She was an entry level scientist at Ledesia Labs and had to work extremely hard to maintain her position in such a competitive field. She wasn't sure if she had time for a relationship just then, but the way she looked at Felicity out of the corner of her eye did give the young seamstress butterflies in her stomach and hope for the future.

Felicity was positive that she had never worked so hard in her entire life. As soon as she woke up every day she threw on her clothes and rushed out the door to get to work. The "little" clothing store that she and her room-mate/business partner Louise Stewart had opened wasn't exactly little anymore - in fact, it was pulling in quite a lot of money by now and had expanded several times.

In a matter of a few months Felicity had gone from spending the long wait-times between new customers daydreaming, jump-roping, and idly chatting with the neighborhood teenagers to eating, breathing, and sleeping the expanding business model of LEAF Designs. 

While Louise was managing the accounting and legal side of things it was Felicity's break-through designs in new clothing materials - which, ironically, she had designed in college and just never gotten around to patenting or putting on the market - that had awarded their little shop quite a few large local grants and helped it flourish into the respectable business it was today. 

Of course being in charge of a large, successful business that was ranking in thousands every day should be reason for endless celebration... right?

Back at home, baby Hannah Stewart was growing well. She had recently mastered the art of making it to the potty on time practically at the same time that she hit a sudden explosion of vocabulary words. Louise was still slightly in awe - one moment her baby girl was such a young baby, barely able to coo "Mama" and just starting to learn to crawl, but now she was already rushing around the house, babbling baby sentences, and didn't even need help to the toddler potty anymore. 

Hannah was growing up - fast - and it was with more than a little tension that Louise noted that her ex-husband hadn't bothered to check on their little girl since the day he left. At this rate he'd miss the rest of her infant years and that would be entirely his fault.

And of course the only other man Louise found herself immediately attracted to - Bretth Eureka - happened to be married - to Rosalind Eureka, Louise's boss, no less. 

He did turn out to be extremely friendly and a great listener, though, so they did end up chatting over strawberry-almond tarts in the coffee shop. Louise poured out some of her woes to Bretth's sympathetic ear. He was very supportive and suggested that she keep busy for a while so she didn't become too depressed.

There were, he told her, toddler and parent classes at the local daycare (which was free for all residents, no less!) and his daughter Leena was available for baby-sitting in the evening. Not to mention a wide number of classes and organizations starting up around town to help citizens meet their "personal growth" quotas.

The orchestra try-outs in particular sounded rather appealing... It has been quite a while since Louise had taken time out of her rigid schedule to sit down at a piano...

Meanwhile Louise is struggling to deal with her emotions after her recent divorce. Although it hasn't even been more than three months she has already been trying to fill the empty void where her husband - as inept as he was - once dwelled. 

After one too many online chats with "young men" who turned out to be heavy on the young side of things (really, who lets their teenagers sign up to dating websites anyway?!) she lurched out of the house and into town, only to try to attach herself to the first vaguely attractive man she saw - Batista Maxwell McKeown.

Unfortunately she came off rather heavy - perhaps discussing raising her daughter together and cornering the poor man with aggressive flirtation while he tried to make her coffee wasn't the best set of opening lines - and Maxwell began hiding behind the magazine racks as soon as he saw her coming.

Settling into Ledesia and getting along with her new room mates haven't proven to be too difficult for young, optimistic Felicity Tweed - especially since one of those said room mates is often happy to share a bowl of late-night mac n' cheese with Felicity from the perch of her high chair. 

Felicity has taken a more active role in playing with and watching after little Hannah than she originally expected to, but, well, Hannah's mother Louise always seems so busy and exhausted all the time. Besides, Hannah is a pretty cute kid!

You know that guy jessica fell in love with you know kyle I think his name was the guy who got engaged to sio what happened to him I really want to know

Kyle Gullson!! :D He wasn't added back in during the re-make of Ledesia, but I have been missing that hilarious guy. I think he may make a reappearance in a bit, once we get some more episodes under our belt. 

I do plan on making a few sub-hoods with different themes, and I think the Gullson brothers would be quite happy re-appearing on a tropical island... Hmm...

Expanded Lifetime Want Generator!

Good news everyone! 

The rough draft of the Expanded Lifetime Want Generator is finally here! Right now its still in its early testing stages, but its ready to use! There are almost 100 lifetime wants and lifetime wishes from both Sims 2 and Sims 3 added into the mix!
