Tell us your dark magolor head canons!
TRIGGER WARNINGS because I’m edgy with my secret emo Headcanons. These are kinda sensitive to those who had mental disorders and stuff, but Making these Headcanons helped me cope with my own issues. I have been known to... actually make my friends cry with some of these, just because they’re kinda tear-jerking, so you’ve been warned. Seriously, triggers include attempted suicide, depression, anorexia, and others.
- Magolor has a ton of health issues stemming off of his possession from the Master Crown. Being separated from the parasite caused his mind to be left in shambles, and left his body nearly torn apart. He had several wounds where the Crown tried to dig into his skin, a lot of slash marks from where Kirby’s blade had cut through his body, and lots of other wounds from the battle against Kirby and his friends.
- After his defeat, the crown shattered, except for a small shard- that resides in his back, near his spine. He was sent rocketing into space, floating infinitely in a state of near-death. Had the Lor not saved him and performed emergency procedures to stitch his wounds, he would have died.
- One of Magolor’s main issues was that he suffered a serious Depression, where he was seemingly stuck in a bottomless pit of sadness. He had no friends, nowhere to go to, no one who would accept him. He had the Lor, yes, but after the surgery, not even she would speak to him. Even the ship was cold to him- though she only meant to do so for a little bit. Unfortunately, that was a the tipping point for him.
- (((THIS IS WHERE THE TRIGGERS START))) Magolor eventually told the Lor to land somewhere in Dreamland, far from the people of the castle. Far off in the forest. The Lor didn’t know why he would do this, but followed his commands. That is, until when she landed, she saw him pull out a rope. She immediately knew where it was going and locked him out of the outside, suddenly speaking to him again, demanding that he not. Magolor, not thinking clearly, kept trying to get out. His mind was clouded by the influence of the Master Crown, his soul, and his pain. He eventually forced the Lor to open the doors after threatening her.
- when he walked outside, he walked away from the boat, as to keep her from stopping him again. He walked until he found the tallest tree he could find. He floated to the top branch and started to tie the knot. As he tied it to the tree, his mind went to a blank slate. Pulling it over his head, the branch beneath gave away. Magolor fell to the ground- not breaking any bones, but being stunned. He struggled to breathe right as he looked at what made him fall-
- Kirby stood before him, holding a blade, tears in his eyes. Kirby had seen what Magolor was doing. Being a creature made of pure joy, Kirby didn’t understand the concept of killing oneself. But he did understand that it was a horrible feeling to see it. He had cut the branch, and the rope, in a fearful panic of whatever Magolor was going to do. Kirby, still stunned and shocked into silence, looked down at Magolor. He didn’t expect to see him again. He didn’t want to see him again. He was still upset at what he had done. And, not knowing what to do, he just left, leaving Magolor on the ground.
- This didn’t make things much better for Magolor. By the time he got back to the Lor, he was looking and feeling miserable. The Lor was finally speaking to him- though he didn’t respond. He didn’t listen. He only curled up and hid away. That’s when his soul, his inner monster, told him to try another way.
- Magolor’s other main health issue- body weight. Halcandrans as a species have a hard time being overweight. The species has a high intake ability, and a high metabolism. This means that, no matter if a halcandran ate three meals a day, or seven, he wouldn’t become too overweight. However, this plays into a different struggle: becoming underweight.
- After his first failed attempt, he started to subconsciously try another. He would simply work himself because he had nothing to do. Plan an amusement park to ask for forgiveness from Kirby. Build a race for the King. Write grocery lists. With no money, everything became a struggle. To where Magolor would limit how much he ate.
- Magolor worked himself harshly, refusing to eat or sleep until work got done. If he got mad, he’d lash out at a bed, or the walls, or smash everything in the room. He’d work himself until he passed out. He’d forget to eat for a day or two at a time. Burnt became worse. To where he’d plan to only eat a small amount of food a day. Only enough to survive. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough. He began to starve in favor of working. He planned exactly how many calories he’d eat a day, and it was usually less in practice. He’d weigh himself everyday. Look in a mirror and only see scars and a monster of himself. Like looking at a corrupt King.
- he eventually gave up on everything, opting to sit under a table and suffer. That is... until she came back. His one friend from his childhood. Who’d disappeared mysteriously and left him in a lonely state of depression. She came back- Susie came back. Only to find him in a miserable state. She had rushed into the Lor in a state of joy, hoping he was there to greet her- only to be met with his shadow, a rejected, pathetic looking shadow.
- However, he didn’t stay like this. Being reunited with Susie brought him out of the dark. Out of misery. Out of pain and starvation and depression. Susie was able to find out why his soul was so menacing and controlling. And she found a way to calm it. She was able to slowly get Magolor to eat again. She was able to make him happy again. She helped to introduce him to new friends. Helped to make him overall happier. He still has episodes of depression and soul outbursts, episodes where he’ll eat and then purge, and episodes where he feels as though he is in pain. But now, thanks to Susie and her friends, Magolor is doing much better. Kirby has forgiven him and called him friend. He is surrounded by people who care now. And now, he’s happier than ever.
- An alternate of this headcanon exists from @ebonyshadowcat ! I also really like hers, and it’s slightly less edgy than mine! Maybe if you beg her enough she’ll share it
Magolor has, by far, one of the darkest Headcanons from me. However, other edgy Headcanons exist for Marx, Taranza, Sectonia, Gryll, aND Susie!
