Mei Ling laughed, "How have I been? I should be asking you that! All that hard work has finally paid off, Crane. I'm so proud of you." "And I've been around. Since Lee Da I decided to do some traveling, that's why I have all this stuff." She nodded to her pack and hiked it higher on her shoulders. "Got in a few fights but nothing too serious. Just like school, you know? I only heard about you a few months ago. I've been in the dark for so long that it's about time I got out of it and lived within society again." Mei Ling's lips curved upwards in a genuine smile and she nudged the bird gently, "So, the Furious Five, huh?" Then as if she was hurt by the idea, she crossed her arms, "Why wasn't I invited to the party?"

"Mei Ling." She smiled at the leopard and shook her head after a quick shrug. She didn't really need help per say, more so admiring the umbrella that the other carried. "I'm sorry, I was just admiring your parasol." She couldn't remember the last time she had nice things, ever since her parents submitted her to the academy, Mei Ling's had more books, and scrolls and a stock full closet of medical kits than the luxury of having something nice such as Song's parasol.

ℳ || Despite being an encouraging friend to others, and a hard working student over all, Mei Ling had a habit of getting into all kinds of trouble during her studies at the academy due to the influence of her other friends. She performed harmless pranks on countless students and only refused to do anymore when she ended up hurting Crane's feelings.
