“Yeah? And what were you expecting?”
“Well for you to avoid me for another 3 months for one.” he teased with a grin.

“Yeah? And what were you expecting?”
“Well for you to avoid me for another 3 months for one.” he teased with a grin.
“Considering I have no idea who you are that’s probably to be expected.”
“Well that'd probably explain it then.” he replied with a grin. His reaction was based on the fact that Lee tended to assume he’d met everyone before. And if he didn’t remember them, he’d fake it. “The name’s Lee.”
“Well I must be more surprising than you remember.”
“Maybe so. Well now I’m just intrigued as to what is coming next. Are you going to shave your head or get an unfortunate tattoo?”
“Well I can’t say that I was expecting to see you here.”
Mary Louise felt as though her heart had stopped. Her body froze, eyes wide and in a split second she saw her mother’s folded arms across her body in a closed off state and how she’d have to explain to Davina why she and mom weren’t speaking yet again.
Before she could even turn around, however, Lee began laughing. Mary Louise let out an exasperated breath. Lee knew her too well, well enough to push her buttons. “Do that again and I’ll kill you.”
A boy with a motorbike was Mrs. Fell’s worse nightmare, but Lee had never been anything but a perfect gentleman to Mary Louise. Plus, he’d bought her her own helmet, so safety most certainly wasn’t in issue. Straddling the bike and allowing her arms around Lee’s torso, Mary Louise rested her chin on Lee’s shoulder. “Where are you taking me, Labeque?”
The look on Mary Louise’s face was enough to cause a lazy smile to make it’s way onto Lee’s face. At her threat, he let out a chuckle and held up his hands in mock surrender. “Always so violent, Miss Fell.” Lee was always pulling pranks like this when it came to his friends. So no doubt he’d pull something similar on her again in the future. When she least suspected it.
“Guess you’ll just have to trust me.” he said vaguely when she asked where they were going. Lee wasn’t usually one to leave a party behind like this, but he figured this was what Mary Louise needed and he was willing to help. Starting up the bike, it wasn’t long before he was pulling out of the carpark.

Katherine: I need a ride as soon as possible. Katherine: I’ll even pay you. Just get me out of here.
Lee: You can buy dinner. Where are you?

“What else do you see, Nostradamus? Am I going to be the new Karl Lagerfeld?”
“The Karl Lagerfeld of Crocs. An empire founded on crocs is what I see in your future. Don’t go down this dark path.” Lee said in a mock spooky voice, imitating crappy psychics.
Lexi couldn’t help but smile simply at the sound of his voice. Lee always had a way to soothe Lexi just with his presence. As though, as long as he was around, things would be okay. It was the same warmth she felt for both her boys ––– he and Stefan. Of course, with Lee, it was always a bit different. “All of this just to steal away little ol’ me?? You know most kindnappers don’t inform their victims that the kidnapping is about to take place before it happens..”
“I knew I shouldn’t have missed that kidnapping lesson.” Lee shook his head in mock defeat. “Guess I just wanted to make sure this victim wasn’t going to get fired before I physically carried her out of here. Kidnappers courtesy.” Lee kept up the kidnapping joke with a smile on his face. “Also having a willing victim couldn’t hurt either.”
“You and Nik truly look out for lil ol’ me. Thank you for making sure I don’t die from exhaustion. It’s greatly appreciated.” She pretended to think for a moment and then nodded her head. “Hmm…yeah that does sound like a typical night with you Lee. I’ll take up your offer for the daiquiris but I’ll skip the hot tub.”
"Well, we definitely can't have that happening." Lee said, nodding his head slightly. "I’m pretty sure everything would go to hell without you. So it makes sense that Niklaus would want to check up on you too.” Lee jokingly pouted in reaction to the rejection of the hot tub. “Lets go get you some of those daiquiris.”
“Well, I mean your intuition is definitely not deceiving you – this is so not my thing. I just needed a distraction - to have fun. Thought this could be fun, but now I’m second guessing everything.”
“Yes, they really can. And while I’m not surprised, I’m still having trouble accepting it for what it is.”
“Don’t worry about it. I’m sure this night can be salvaged. JUmp on a giant handbag, get some free stuff. A pretty girl can really just fit in anywhere with the right attitude.“
“It really just means that you’re not dead inside like the rest of us. Kudos.”
“First order of business,” Enzo raised his glass towards the other man, light shining brightly in his eyes as well. Their humor remarkably blended well together. “We’ll have to get new management around here.”
“New management and possibly some kind of diplomatic immunity. And” Lee added the last part as an afterthought. “Because really, we’d be doing a a community service.”
“Yeah, I don’t follow fashion trends but that doesn’t mean I don’t know anything about fashion. I know that Crocs are not fashionable and if that doesn’t make a fashion guru, I don’t know what will.”
“Don’t worry, man. One day you’ll come back here and release your own line of crocs. I can see it now. Crocs for Jocks, a successful attempt at tricking jocks into thinking Crocs can be cool.”
A proper bad influence. He was certainly right that somebody needed to fulfill that role in her life. If it were to be Lee, there was a good chance he would receive a good amount of grief from her in the process.
Mary Louise shook her head at Lee as gowns and suits passed them on the sidewalk. Sooner or later her mother would figure out that Mary Louise was not in her dress let alone inside.
“Shut up, Lee, and get me the hell out of here.”
Lee laughed outright at Mary Louise's words, unable to stop the amusement from dancing across his face. "Wow, you're just so mean to me." he said, glancing behind them for a moment. "Oh hi, Mrs Fell." His tone was serious for a moment, pretending as if the girl's mother was behind them. He ended up breaking in only a few moments and laughing.
“Come on, I’ve got the motorbike.”
“Aw, Lee, I never pegged you for a little basket case of mommy issues,” she scoffed, wrapping herself in a towel before stepping about her room. “Daddy issues? Definitely. You have the sexual need of approval like every other lost boy I’ve ever met.”
“Oh is this the moment we bond and get to the source of my issues? I’ll lay on the couch and have a nice cry?” he said sarcastically, a smirk on his face. There was no way he was taking any of this seriously. “You’ve just got me all figured out huh? Go on Doctor Katherine, tell me more about me.”

“No, I consider myself a classy guy … I expect that they’d at least buy me a drink before the speedo. That’s just common courtesy.”
“I see. You make ‘em work for the main attraction. I can respect that.” Lee couldn’t help but jokingly praising Stevie’s nature with his jibes, “So, I don’t know if it’s a new feature of the hotel. But everywhere I go today, well dressed women are trying to give me a bag of lingerie.” he said conversationally.
Lexi wasn’t one to pry in on people’s personal lives, but she couldn’t help but pause beside the table, tilting her head as she smiled gently down at the person before her. “Hey there…long day??”
“Well, well. Look who it is.” he said, a smile making it’s way onto his face. Lee’s sarcasm had a tendency to soften a little round the edges when Lexi was around. His hand moved to lightly take her wrist. “Just looking like this so you’d come over and I could kidnap you.” Lee’s mouth formed into a smirk.
