Just finished reading this book on the kindle. It's called "Unravel" and this page gives the perfect description about sex. "Each one requires you to give a piece of yourself that you can never give back." Why can't people see that, even though you think you won't get attached/attracted to someone, you're still giving them a piece of you: a piece of your heart.
Always😍
When you wake up to the bae telling you this😍💞
Our story
Continuing off from my rant about my best friend, today was the first time in a long time he spoke to me since that day. He wanted to apologize for all the wrongs that he did to me and here I am, wondering to myself "did he ever do something wrong?" Granted, he was referring to his attitude for ignoring me these couple months because he couldn't figure out how to tell me that he, too, didn't want to see me anymore. I'm upset that I wasted all these months hopelessly waiting for him to talk to me, but honestly..I'm glad that I didn't give up; always hoping for the day he would talk to me again. Albeit it was an apology, but that alone made me happy enough that all of my worries from today washed away..sad to say really..he was the only one that made me feel this way. Finally, I thanked him for those fun times we spent together because he was always there for me and this time, I wasn't going to make the same mistake and take him for granted. Today, I actually took a stand and thanked him for everything and I was satisfied enough knowing that I was there for him in his times of need. Now, I know that this relationship wasn't as one-sided as I had always thought it was. We both needed each other and took advantage of that fact. We were young, stupid, and immature, but did I regret any of that? Honestly..I don't regret anything..not any more than I did before..not since I now know his true feelings about our secret relationship. Now I can proudly say that it might not be mutual love or even true love in the eyes of outsiders, but to me..the love I felt for him was more sincere and truer than anything I've ever felt before. If there was anything I still regret, it was that I thanked him for being with me without letting him know once more how I felt about him. I guess it's too late now since we decided to go our own separate ways. At least now that chapter to my life and our story finally came to an end and for that I will always be thankful for being able to spend 3 years with my best friend.
First thing I get from the boyfriend before he gets me all blushy☺️ I'd rather be a queen and dominate the world though (shh it's our little secret😜)
To the best friend I loved
Three years ago, today, I met a boy on a dating website. Yes, I admit (being a 16 year old) it was stupid of me to give him my number in case he wasn’t what he seemed to be. Little did I know, this boy had recently moved into the neighborhood that was down the street from mine and was looking for new friends who went to the same school. Of course, I went to the same school and you could just imagine how thrilled I was. Like him, I recently moved back into the city (six months before) and I had found out my group of friends had broken up and went their own separate ways. So this boy became my hope for making friends. I was talking to this boy for a few weeks and I was so into him that I wanted to meet him…and we did. We met one morning during school after my first period class. It was a brief moment, but we promised to spend the lunch break together. The next thing I knew, it was a month when I realized all of our classes were within the same building and being the girl that I was…I made sure to meet with him on “accident.” It was, then, a few days before my 17th birthday that I made the greatest decision of my life (so far). That morning, I met with this boy at his house and, like the hormones driven teens that we were, we both had lost our virginity to each other. My sole belief, and reason, for having made this decision was for the hope that this would become a one time thing and would hurt me emotionally so I would never keep myself hoping for more than our friendship. But this eventful morning didn’t stop our friendship…oh no…it deepened our friendship. From that moment on, the two of us became best friends; there were no secrets held between us…minus the secret that I had feelings for this boy. Whenever one of us had gotten upset, the other would be the first person we would run to. To others, it was obvious we were interested with other, but we didn’t want our friendship to shatter over a relationship. Within the course of those three years, we were always there for each other and I knew that I had taken our friendship for granted. I knew that even if I was seeing other people, he would still be there for me. However, that all changed half a year ago. I had told my best friend that I wanted to stop seeing him because I wanted to be with another person (who is now my boyfriend). He understood, he protested a little, he let me go, and I never heard from him anymore. That is…until yesterday night when he sent me a message saying he was happy with his girlfriend of three months. That was when it hit me…I knew I was taking our friendship for granted and I believed that he would still be there for me, but he wasn’t…not anymore and for some reason, a tiny part of me knew that. I guess you could say…that I was upset by this…I mean, I was in love with this guy for almost three years now, but I’m happy that I was able to spend all that time with him. I guess you could say that without him, I wouldn’t be where I am today. If one day, he ever reads this, I hope he realizes that he was more than a best friend to me. And to all the other girls who take him for granted, just know that one day he’ll get tired of your push and pull game and he won’t be there for you all the time. I learned my lesson and I am definitely not taking this relationship for granted. I, at least, owe it to my best friend.
And that day has come😊💘
I have spent four amazing months and a day at disneyland with this guy. I'm happy to have him in my life and I hope he stays there until we go our separate ways.
Always
I had such a fun valentine's date (had to do it early because he had work that day)..went to the aquarium and ended it with a long walk on the beach while watching the sunset
