a little bit of meta for u: arlo and wyatt are Literally opposites. arlo will laugh at milly’s stupid jokes ; wyatt will barely show interest. wyatt got stuck in a ranch hand job after high school, working for the morrison family with no real way out ; arlo left his cowhand job and went on to become a ranger and will start a farm with milly by choice. wyatt has cheated on half of the women he’s been with ; arlo never touched milly when he was married to magnolia even when he knew full well he was in love with her. arlo is sensitive ; wyatt’s emotionally distant. wyatt starts bar fights ; arlo stops them. arlo wears the white hat, wyatt wears the black hat. they’re very similar in theory, but completely different in execution.
