     Was she being serious right now? This inquiries were absolutely unexpected, the last one being rather completely ironic. The Uchiha just stared at the female for a few moments, silencing lingering among the duo. “What you see here…is pure genetics. No shampoo or chemical will get you this exclusive appearance. As for the secrets…” he trailed off into silence. “They’re secrets for a reason. That remain strictly among the Uchiha themselves.” Unless, of course, someone already spilled the beans. His track record heavily indicates a strong history of betrayal so he wasn’t exactly certain on what was kept a secret all these years.

   It made him ponder as he juggled between random thoughts. To take someone like them under his wing was definitely a predicament he’d never see coming. Yet, it made him curious as to see how things would fall through. Surely, Orochimaru would produce some interesting results, let alone progress. It could be considered among the likes of being an artist. Consistent efforts put into one’s craft eventually molds into their own. “Then I shouldn’t have to worry about in-depth formalities.” He reassured the other. “I can’t be a proper mentor without being able to perform accordingly, now can I? I accept your offer but this affiliation stays between us. I can’t imagine the uproar news like this would bring.”

For when had the serpent ever come out unscathed from a partnership with an Uchiha? They always asked too much, and the fire born clan always had little sympathy putting them back in their place. Yet, here they were once more. Seeking a power perhaps unobtainable.

     The careful observations that the Uchiha had made over the course of his years, even when sleeping with death, would deem almost impossible to reenact. Yet, his endeavors didn’t appear to succeed quite the way he initially wanted them to. “You should know what kind of work this entails...” He warned the other. “Without the sharingan or rinnegan, or even Hashirama’s cells, there’s only so much left to pass down.
