The 'crypt' here at work #hotel #walls #decay

Did a little research on this tombstone, James Ivy was a Volunteer in the 133rd Ohio Voluntary Infantry, Company D. At age 27 he enlisted on May 2nd 1864 and completed his 100 days of Voluntary service for the Ohio Union Army on August 20th 1864. From the records I found searching the web the 133rd Ohio Infantry was stationed at Camp Chase here in Columbus Ohio. I couldn't find a death certificate all i know is that this interesting tomb stone has a pretty cool story behind it. All i know is that this veteran of the civil war is buried at Little Pennsylvania Cemetery (Woollyburger) right down the street from my trailer park i will keep searching for a time of death! https://www.facebook.com/legendohio/ come check me out give a like a comment (:

An Abandoned rest stop along State Route 40 went hunting for some interesting places to photograph ended up with this interesting gem nothing was around but farm houses and grain mills

An abandoned farm house off of Kropp Rd in Galloway, Ohio. Absolutley perfect atmosphere to shoot in. Its been here for a long time. I can only imagine the things and people it has seen

A strange house that’s been abandoned off of route 40 (Broad St.) here in Columbus for some time now, its perfect windows all boarded up, decaying wooden siding. these are my favorite kinds of places to photograph, they’re just so inviting to the imagination. Who lived here? Why did they leave it empty for so long? So many questions to ask yourself! So much decaying glory <3

So i took this at Ceasers Creek in Waynesville, Ohio. It was March 2014, the lake was being drained, what most people don’t know is that there used to be a town under the Lake. In the 1970′s the army core of engineers and the US Government bought up the town of New Burlington, directed all of the local creeks into the valley flooded it and built a damn thus making Ceasers Creek. Im very found of this place spent a lot of summers here in high school good memories, and awesome places to photograph!

In Honor of my favorite abandoned building and the most locally famous structure I've ever visited here in Ohio, Mudhouse Mansion. It was torn down this week dude to the Millions it would cost to have it restored. As well as to the fact that its almost halloween time and children and people such as my self are drawn to this place around this time of year. Im just so glad i got to visit it last year in Lancaster. Its so sad to see this place gone from the land its been here longer than any of us!
