LEAP OF FAITH
Are you facing a challenge that is demanding an answer? Have you considered doing something a little risky or daring? Thinking of doing something that you know you could fail at? If you are considering running away from these questions, it is completely understandable, but I dare you to finish reading this post.
Ruth, in the Bible, didn’t have to move to her mother-in-law's nation. Nevertheless, she chose to follow Naomi. God would not have been angry with Ruth if she would have stayed in her own nation, as He wasn’t with Orpah. But, He blessed Ruth with immeasurably more when she took a risk.
When I was fifteen years old, I had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Bangalore, India. If I had declined this opportunity I would not have been punished and God would not have been disappointed in me, but I would not have gotten the blessing and the revelations that I did. On that trip, God began molding me and showing me who I was called to be.
I’m not saying what Ruth did was easy or that I didn’t have several panic attacks on the plane. Sometimes, we need to take a leap of faith and say yes to something, for a breakthrough in our lives. Say yes to adventure with our Father. Say yes with open hands and the blessings will come.
THE NEW ME
im tired of putting up a front for everyone else. its definitely not for my. but it is time for me to just be me. im done wearing make up to please others, making my instagram have a theme so more people like my stuff, and trying to make myself seem cooler than i am. i am ready for the lord to define me rather than the world. so get ready for the new me! im coming whether you like it or not.
