Angel Haze
The first time I heard something about the musician Angel Haze(named after the pornographic actress Jenna Haze) was on the blog ''Stylelikeu''(a blog about creative people, how they deal with their creativity and the way they put it into the world). http://stylelikeu.com/profiles-2/music-x-style/angel-haze-interview-1/

With her actual name ''Raee'n Wahya'' she grew up in Detroit. Her childhood was a tough one(permanent moving, anorexia, sexual abuse, not accepted sexual orientation) and left some scars behind but with her attitude she was never on the side of giving up. It seems to me that she has got an obvious strong character and belongs to one of the artists, who can turn pain into art. With her music making she is capable to process her past. The song ''Cleaning out my Closet''(in relation to the Eminem song ''Cleaning out my Closet, 2002) is in my opinion the strongest and most honest song by her based on the content, at least until now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7bZ08RNUyM&hd=1
There is no better way for Angel, than to wrap her music content into rap.
All in all Angel Haze is a young and embossed woman, whose ambition is to put feelings into words. A kind of self-therapy that not only Angel uses as artist.
