So today the headmaster stepped in my classroom and said "Have any of you seen anyone burning something during the break on this floor?" and a girl immediately went like "Yeah I sensed the bad smell as well, I don't know where it might be coming from" and I was just staring at everyone while they were complaining about the bad smell.. Apparently some guys had set on fire some pieces of paper for fun and everyone could smell it..

Later in the next break, I talked with my friend that has hyposmia and she was like "what the heck is going on" too when everyone was talking about a fire smell.

I guess our own houses might burn down and we we'll have no idea lmao

Not knowing if I smell bad makes me feel uncomfortable and anxious.

I had ran with some friends yesterday and I got sweaty. Then I was talking with one of the guys and he took a step further away from me while we walked away from our squad, and I thought that I might had been smelling bad. So I took a step behind as well and waited to see how he would react in any way. Then he came even closer to me and kept talking casually, that relieved me a lot.. Phew.

I wear my deodorant the whole time but it still makes me feel unsafe.

Anosmia-Story time #3

I was once with a bunch of friends inside a small house-room in my village (we had actually snicked in, it's public property so we didn't actually break in), because it was raining outside a lot. One friend needed to go to the bathroom, which was just a door next to us.

The toilet had problems and it wouldn't flash his stools. Everybody was looking at each other while exchanging cringes and holding their noses.. It took me a while to understand what was happening lol. Very glad I am anosmic.

A few months ago when I told them that I can't smell, even though I said it that day but they obviously forgot, one girl went like "Oh is this why you couldn't sense anything back then when he pooped?!". A funny memory.
