ragnorhill·:
âboreas,â ragnor repeated. ever since heâd arrived, everything and everyone seemed to mystify him. heâd seen lips whispering to pliant heads of flowers, unnatural feats displayed so boldly. this was a world unlike the one heâd forsaken, a world he was a stranger to. it brimmed with a thousand mysteries and wonders, each alit with its own light. âi drank it alone,â ragnor confessed, softly because saying it aloud made him seem weak, or reckless, or an ugly hybrid of both. âbut hey, i am alive, right? thatâs all that matters. itâd be fuckinâ ironic and fitting if a drink was the end of me.â
he watched him with avid eyes, curious to see his next moves. when the male nears the lake, ragnor moves to leave a path for him. âi was planning to leave for my cabin, but,â he said, drawing his fingertips across the water idly, âi could make an exception for you since you practically begged me to stay.â his mouth curled into a smile.Â
âi drank it alone, too.â leland says with little to no inflection. âthey locked me in my cabin, thankfully.â he nods his head toward the lake before them, the one ragnorâs naked body stands out in like a beacon. âi donât know if i wouldâve been alive if they hadnât.â he remembers how raw his throat was the next day, how his screams echoed in his cabin and into his nightmares until he woke the next morning. he doesnât regret it, though, not a day since. âthe ambrosiaâs supposed to be the best thing weâve ever tasted now, in moderation.âÂ
lelandâs lips pull up into a half smirk, eyes closing for a moment as he soaks in the scent of the lake. he drops the towel to shore and lifts his shirt up and over his shoulders. âdidnât seem like it took too much.â he replies with a grin on his lips. he slowly unbuttons his jeans and slips out of them, revealing a pair of black briefs that clung to his ass rather well. âwill me getting naked bother you?â he questions, eyes dancing over the naked form of the son of dionysus.Â
