Happy birthday Paya!

She’s a year old today! March 23 2016 was the first time I drew her as her own character so I’m making that her official birthday! It has been so cool developing her character and personality and over all style, and it’s been just unbelievable how much attention and love she has gotten in response.

Fic art for someone else. I will draw for YOUR fic, or if you absolutely want me to I will draw for one of mine, but I won’t draw for something you didn’t write. Please have the section of your fic you want drawn already chosen. I will not choose for you.

FIC AUTHORS: please do not send me a 2k excerpt of your fic for me to try to draw, there's no easy way for me to draw out the fact that your character smells like honeydew and memories of a distant past. Condense what you want into an idea for an image. A good way to do this is reduce what you want drawn into bullet points. (their shirt is red, they look grumpy, they are eating honeydew etc.)

Terms of Service:

Discord is my preferred method of communication (Lellowberry#6653), but I can be reached on any platform.

Payment or partial payment must be made up front after I’ve accepted your commission. If making a partial payment the final payment must be made upon completion of the commission before I will email it to you. I will allow up to three (3) weeks waiting time on final payment before I rescind the commission. 

Payments will be made through a pa/yp/al invoice, for this I will require an email. 

Commissions should only take me 3-4 days, but please allow up to 2 weeks for completion or longer depending on complexity. Feel free to DM me for updates!

Process: 

After I’ve accepted your commission, I will draw up a mock messy sketch for you to approve. 

After approval I will require the first partial or full payment be made. I will reach out to you when I’m nearing completion on your art to double check that everything looks the way you want it to and if anything needs to be fixed/altered.

Finally once everything looks good I will request the final payment be made(if doing partial payment) and email you the finished artwork.

The art is yours to keep and post where you please as long as you post with credit. I can be tagged @Lellowberry on any platform. 

Alterations and variants:

After agreeing to the mock sketch I will still make alterations such as moving a limb or changing a facial expression, or make small adjustments to clothing. I will not change the chosen character(s) or make drastic pose changes post payment.

Once the commission has been finalized and delivered I will make no more than three (3) alterations for up to one (1) month post finalization. Any changes after that period will require the purchase of a new commission. 

My artwork is not to be redistributed for profit. This includes but is not limited to:

Posting the artwork on redbubble or similar print distribution site for others to purchase. If you want it privately printed for your use only, that's fine!

Reselling the artwork as 'adoptable'

Minting my artwork into an N/F/T

I reserve the right to decline any commission.

Hello hello reader! Thank you for the ask! This one in particular was special for me and I loved it so much I had some super beautiful art done especially for it! Thank you @lellowberrys-art for this absolutely gorgeous piece of our Mand’alores!

Queen of Spades

Summary: The Mand’alores attend their first political summit.

Pairing: Din X Fennec

Warnings: tooth rotting fluff. Rated For general audiences

Fennec’s movements were calculated and practiced. Swiftly. Accurately. Expertly. She could apply her eyeliner with the same precision she used when firing her rifle. A little color on her lips and then she was finished. Staring into the mirror, she hardly recognized the woman staring back at her. Her makeup was the same, she’d done it the same way since she was a teenager. The vicious scar below her eye still marred her features, though she wore it proudly as a symbol of a survivor. Her hair, albeit done a little more intricately today was still her same hair. She even kept her orange ribbon woven in for good luck.

But it was a very different woman looking back at her all the same. This woman was no longer a loner, an assassin, an outcast, an orphan. She was now a wife, an adoptive mother, a best friend, a confidant, a soldier, a warrior. She was a queen.

Touching the iron heart secured in her orange breastplate, she took a deep breath as she remembered its meaning and the part of her identity that it represented. She was a Mandalorian, bound to the creed. Her top priority was to serve and protect her newfound people alongside her husband. It felt like a tremendous weight to bear.

The thought of her and Din as royalty made her chuckle. Neither one of them had the charms and graces of royalty like Alderaan, nor the political prowess of a senator in Coruscant. There weren’t lifetimes of debutantes, classes on manners, and good graces. Neither one of them had come from nobility. The only reason either one of them were here now was because of their tenacity, willingness to put up a fight, and sheer skill. Their natural leadership and complementary skill set had made them the perfect pair to rule the newfound Mandalore.

“You ready?” Fennec’s eyes shifted from her reflection to the reflection of her husband standing behind her and she couldn’t help but smile. He looked every bit the king in his shiny armor and rich, black cloak.

“As I’ll ever be,” she replied as she stood and turned to face him. Their matching armor gleamed in the early morning light and she couldn’t help but trace the mud horn sigil on his pauldron. She had a matching one on hers; a symbol of their family.

Din took her hand and kissed it tenderly before the couple exited their room and down the grandiose halls of the Naboo palace. It had long since been restored to its former glory after the empire fell and it became a hub for kingdoms and provinces across the galaxy to hold political summits.

Fennec could tell that Din was nervous. His hand was fidgeting and twitching. She’d only seen this movement a handful of times in her life as Din was very rarely rattled (at least that he let on). She grabbed his hand and squeezed it once.

“An cuyir pirusti. Ni'm ti gar,” Fennec said and Din shot her a look. (All is well. I’m with you.)

“You’ve been practicing your Mando’a.” His voice was full of pride.

“Figured it was appropriate if I’m going to be your queen,” Fennec replied before they arrived at the great hall. Seated around a large conference table were royals, diplomats, prime ministers, and leaders from the furthest corners of the galaxy. Once the two Mandalorians took their seats at the table, the summit commenced.

The conversation was droll. It consisted primarily of introductions and boring bureaucratic nonsense. Fennec had never been so bored in her entire life and was prepared to mentally check out when the representative from Corellia spoke.

“I’m sorry but why do we even have representatives from Mandalore here?” His voice oozed with the unmistakable tone of loftiness and disgust as he looked at the two armored warriors. His clothes suggested he’d been born into a life of riches and splendor. “That planet is nothing but a dust bowl and its people are even less deserving of a place at this table than the lowest criminal. The Mandalorians are an extinct people, and hardly worth acknowledging.

Din shot to his feet but Fennec grabbed his arm as a way of anchoring him to any good sense he had left. She could practically feel him vibrating with rage.

“Mandalore is being rehabilitated thanks to the effort of the Mand’alore and the willingness of the people smart enough to follow him.”

“He’s no Mand’alore. He was a foundling and you, Miss, came from nothing. An assassin. A criminal,” the viceroy spat.

Fennec took a calm breath before looking the viceroy square in the eyes. “That may be true. But Din Djarin won the crown according to the Mandalorian creed.”

“And Fennec Shand has fought valiantly in our ranks to destroy the Imperial remnant and free Mandalore from its grip,” Din chimed in. “She is as deserving to sit on the throne as any natural-born Mandalorian.”

The room was awkwardly silent and Din scanned the crowd before looking at Fennec who gave him a reassuring nod. Returning his gaze to the table, he continued.

“I do not intend to rule with fear and aggression like many Mand’alores before me. We are not here to conquer and take what doesn’t belong to us. What I intend to do is reclaim Mandlore for my people and restore our culture. We are here to be of service to the galaxy and come to aid when needed,” Din explained.

“There is incredible value in Mandalore if you would just look beyond the surface. There are natural resources that could benefit millions. And we are warriors. We will answer the call to arms and fight along-side you should you need it. We intend to be allies, not enemies,” Fennec finished. Her voice was strong and clear.

Once more the room was quiet and the representative from Coruscant, who was leading the summit stood to speak.

“This council recognizes the representatives of Mandalore as well as Mandalore’s sovereignty. You are just as much a part of this council as anyone else here. We will hear no more questioning of their right to be here and you will treat the Mand’alores with respect and honor.”

The table unanimously agreed and then the chatter resumed as if the interruption never happened. Din looked at his wife and grinned before leaning in to whisper in her ear. “Ni kar’tayl gar darasuum.”

“Ni kar’tayl gar darasuum,” Fennec replied lowley. She gave her husband a wink before joining the conversation with the rest of the representatives.

As many of you who follow me know, I've got a whole Fantasy AU Universe that I'm working on writing featuring characters all across the PPCU.

I went through a large internal debate over this, because I HAVE written the stories as "Female Reader-Inserts" and don't want to unintentionally code them one way or another with specific art but since I am also a reader/recorder of my own story (and it's my birthday this month) I decided that I wanted to go ahead and commission the marvelous @lellowberry for this piece for Sparkling Embers.

It's my Hellhound Javi and me as my half-pixie insert.

I absolutely ADORE everything about this, I feel really just... emotional seeing me on the page. Lellow absolutely BLEW me away with this and I am just so so grateful, and I did let her play and all the things she added in are just perfection.

This is like, big for me because I've battled with a lot of self-confidence issues over my appearance and this is the first ever piece of work I commissioned of me. So to be captured like this, recreated like this, has me in a tangle of emotions because I feel pretty.
