ARROW 4X09

Okay, I just saw the NZ promo for Arrow 4x09 and can I just say I am not ready.... 

I would, however, like to point something out and maybe ask the fandom a few questions.

 Am I right in seeing Malcolm portray himself as the Green Arrow? And if so, could it be possible that Malcolm is actually the one in the grave? Or has all that grave shit just changed with Barry’s time jump? Could it be that Oliver showed the emotions he’d shown at the flash forward because he is sad and grateful for Malcolm’s sacrifice for him?

I have just finished watching the latest episode and I was honestly pissed, at first, and then after a while, when I calmed a little, I understood a little. 

I read somewhere someone asking Olicity fans what they feel now that they think the show isn’t about the relationship between Oliver and Felicity. Well, Im an Olicity fan (although Im not speaking in behalf of everybody else) and my answer is that I feel so many things. Anger. Giddines. Relief. Understanding. And having sooo many feelings about it is what makes it even more amazing. The relationship between Oliver and Felicity is making us feel. Its making us wonder how these people go through relationships (like normal people) despite taking on such huge responsibilities of saving a city and its people. Its making us empathize with the people and the situation, making them more relatable, more human. 

Its what a show should be doing. Not merely showing us punches and kicks that don’t actually hit. It should be making us feel and empathize with the stories the characters are telling through these episodes. I find it incredibly selfish of people who say that we should just forgo relationships and drama and shit because this is a superhero show. Might I remind you that these so-called superheroes are humans too. Humans who make mistakes, who are more than often angry with the world, who make stupid decisions and make other people go “SHIT!!!!”. They are humans who deserve to be at peace, to be given their stupid moments, who need support and love...not just a list of people to kill or maim. These experiences are what makes them superheroes. Because, after all, aren’t superheroes people who’ve learned from past mistakes and wish to rectify them by saving the world? 

I might be wrong. Kill me. But Oliver keeping a secret from Felicity, especially something this big, is a phase that they have to go through and learn from and grow into. Having this problem will make them stronger. In the meantime, it’s not bad we are all angry at Oliver, for now, I know I was. And I see so many of us Olicity fans calming down from such a high and realizing how going through such issues will make them stonger, make their relationship more formidable.

We’re gonna make it, just like Oliver and Felicity will.......and mind you, when we pass over this, we’re gonna be one hell of a stronger fandom!! In the meantime, let’s just enjoy their little cuddle moment.... nyahahaha

Rant....yes, this was a long rant. Forgive me.

Exasperating Politics News

Im watching the news and I swear, its all about politicians and politics. It never stops. Now, I know Im just about the millionth person on FB who's complained about this very same issue but how can you not?! When there are more pressing issues, we hear news of politicians and what they've done thus far. Where there are dire situations that need to be addressed, we see, yet again, politicians and their cronies "doing something" with those affected. ...and the story ends up not being about the dire situation and its victims but of the personality who's come to share his/her time. Very few news comes out without any of them involved and its a little sad. Yes, I am, as some others may call it, whining....but then again, I say, Who wouldn't? You say, Im just rattling on and on about it and doing nothing at all...well let me tell you something, I am doing something....Im expressing opinions that, should it be heard (or in this case, read), can tell them that Im getting more than just a little tired of the "spins". We need news that inspire, that bring hope and awareness. We need stories that bring to light real issues...issues that affect not one but all...news that show us of our flaws and success as one society, news that bring us together and news that helps all of us learn how to grow out of our common flaws and influence us to be better.  And don't get me started on all the ads.......
