Fuse the Metal Sonic is an alternate universe version of Metal Sonic （more specifically， the Metal Sonic from the Sonic Boom universe） where it decided to upgrade himself to be more specialized for aquatic exploration and combat， giving itself a fish-like form and naming himself “Fuse” （no one knows why； it refuses to tell anyone）． Some argue whether he's more of a shark， more of a swordfish， or still a metal hedgehog⸻nobody can seem to figure that out．But more importantly， the beaches and coasts of Seaside Island are no longer safe because of this annoying robotic fishy-hedgehog thing threatening civilians' safety．What will Mayor E． Pluribus Fink， Esquire do？ Absolutely nothing； that's team Sonic's job to figure out． Why evacuate the beaches when you could be partying on them instead！？

This is a very old animatic I'd randomly work on and then drop for long amounts of time, leaving the final styling of the characters... questionably different every frame. (Alternatively, that's my way of saying I know it looks like hot garbage and you've been forewarned.)
