My cousin Line, known online as @nebulow (her instagram is more active), is suffering from very severe Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), a multisystemic neuroimmune disease, which is incredibly misunderstood in our country Denmark, where psychiatrists have decided that my cousin is not suffering from a somatic illness, but is instead psychotic and that all her symptoms of very severe ME are delusions. They don't listen to her, when she tells them she's not interested in their psychiatric treatment and they are now threatening with forceful psychiatric treatment, which might worsen her ME if not cost her life.

My 25 y/o cousin Line, known as @nebulow online, needs for surgery for Craniocervical Instability (CCI). This is her last resort as she's been deteriorating fast. She's also diagnosed with Congenital Muscular Dystrophy (CMD), which will kill her if her CCI isn't treated.

Hello friends, I have an update from Nebulow;

She keeps going into paralysis and described it as feeling like a coma, she is struggling to get enough calories in a day, and she's really worried about whether or not she will make it long enough to raise the funds for surgery.

I can only imagine her distress and urgency as she is fully dependant on care right now and the quality of care is not the best.

We now know that the craniocervical instability (CCI) has caused her very severe ME/CFS.

We are hopeful that the surgery will alleviate these symptoms or at the very least improve her quality of life, it's the only chance she has.

She has requested that in the event that she does not make it, that the funds are to be donated to Open Medicine Foundation [https://www.omf.ngo/] as they are pioneering research and treatment into Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and other multisystem diseases.

If you can fundraise or have a little bit to spare each month, I would say that we should all try our best for her right now as we are her only hope!

Please donate if you can. She's still fighting for her life, but she's so sick and is getting maltreated by the Danish health care system, who don't believe in ME/CFS, which she suffers from to a very severe degree. They let her starve because she can't eat on her own anymore. It is horrifying.
