When/how did you realize feet were such a special interest for you and not just a source of attraction?

It’s always been there since the beginning of my sexuality. I was into feet before I even knew it was a thing for other people. I’ve had access to porn very early, but my first researches were mainly pictures of feet. I’ve been so ashaimed of it, thought I was a pervert, I would hide it but was so obsessed and thought about it all the time.

For me, loving feet is very special. I think it played a significant role in the way I see femininity and my transition. For years, I had no idea I was trans but started to play with the fetish. Feet were to me an accessible non-gendered sexual attribute; the only part of my body that I could view as feminine and sensual before transition. It was also very easy to hide: I could shave my legs, put on nail polish, wear stockings under my jeans and talk about it to nobody (even though I remember some guy classmates noticing that i’d shaved my legs in sport class 🫢)

To me, loving feet is so linked to transitioning. All of that happened years before I even knew about trans people as a teen ! I’m 25 and I’d say it’s only bren 2 years since I’m not ashaimed of it anymore. Even though I started transitioning 7 years ago. Finding out that it was such a big thing in the whole transbian community and not just for me, and finding this community on Tumblr has helped me soooo much. What we have here is so important 💟

Doing Better does not always mean never being upset or never being triggered or never having trouble. often Doing Better means experiencing those things and being able to keep going/cope healthily/move on. if you’re in a bubble with no sensation, if you’re numbing yourself out, that’s not what recovering really is. it won’t help you have a happier life it’ll just make your world smaller and smaller until you can’t fit anywhere anymore. gotta learn to make peace with the hard stuff too, that’s the only way to keep going
