The three of them are non-binary but use He/It pronouns, Yume is Asexual, Koibito is Pansexual and Kibō is Straight with Aroace tendencies ( i hope that makes sense). Also yes, these applies to their old selves as well. I’d like to hear your headcanons for my guardians (if you have any). I hope you like it.

Love the way you write, very very satisfying to read and the whole exe fandom don't really have many writers in regards to X readers so I do be eating good rn. If you ever find the time or willpower and wish to write about a Yokubo x reader where the reader is just some chaotic being who likes messing with him (lovingly of course) because he is a brat whom is easy to get under the skin of, not an exe per say but in general a somewhat powerful being that allows them to not have to fear X or anyone that can usually put a stop to most people's shenanigans.
[Tysm anon!! I tried my best to accurately depict Yokubo, Some parts were significantly harder to write than others in attempts to stay true to his character but also make him nuanced. The lack of full depictions of his character in official media similarly made this challenging. I definitely put a bit of my own flavor into his character here. It was a fun exercise! Hope you enjoy! <3]
You were what Lord X called a "hitch-hiker." When he whisks souls into his world, sometimes a little extra something clings on for the ride. Because they weren't human, and didn't express pain in quite the same way humans did, and they weren't all that bothersome, he wasn't very interested in them. They were often chaotic little creatures and considered Lord X's world rather sleepy and went on their way quite quickly. Accept for you, of course. You considered most of his world rather hideous, from the foliage to the decor, and even the man himself was unsightly to you. This, of course, carried to his guardians, all accept for one, however. He was quite gorgeous, in fact... Long, upturned, well-kept quills, shimmering with a light yellow color, his limbs lined with rivulets of gold, and clad in a gladiator's garb, as a symbol of his strength. However, his attitude matched much of his surroundings... The rather stuck-up little brat was quite easily set off, both by his fellow guardians and by vessels. He was as prideful as he was beautiful, though you couldn't say you blamed him. In your head, you felt that if you looked like that, you'd probably act quite the same.
Most guardians weren't interested in you, you had nothing to do with their lord's grand design, so you were mostly ignored. This gave you much of an opportunity to observe him. As a few hours passed, you couldn't remain inconspicuous forever. The guardian started to notice you watching him. At first he simply found it odd, and then irritating. After he had enough, he sought you out.
"Keep staring and I might find a reason to gouge your eyes out," he spat, vitriolic.
You giggled, even being acknowledge by him had you excited, despite earning a bit of his ire. "Hehehe~ I mean nothing by it! It's simply, everything else here is so boring and hideous... But you're such a sight for sore eyes!" You chimed, feeling no reason to hide your attraction.
The guardian's frown twitched, but he crossed his arms and turned his head away, snout pointing upward as he fought to resist your flattery. "How dare you insult my Lord's work... If it were up to me, I'd have you interlopers crushed upon your arrival! You're lucky he sees such measures as a waste of his energy."
"But I didn't insult you," you rebutted, tilting your head. "Are you not one of your Lord's works? One of the best, if I'm not mistaken?"
His frown had faltered and he looked at you again, still appearing rather unimpressed but no longer too bothered. "One of the best? I'd argue I'm the very image of his perfection! Since you can seem to only stand to look upon me, I'd think you'd know that already."
One of his fellow guardians - a clownish fellow - called to him from down the hall: "Yokubo! Why are you dilly-dallying?"
The golden guardian scoffed, and turned away, starting down the hall. "You distract me, creature! Obstruct me anymore and our Lord will have you deemed a liability and to be disposed of!" And then he sped off, ribbons trailing behind him.
You knew his name now. Yokubo... And slowly throughout the conversation you managed to break down his walls, bit by bit. The guardian seemed to be easily charmed! But also easily teased, performing a little bit of push and pull against this emotional creature felt right up your ally. You giggled again, and zipped off in the opposite direction.

You decided to give Yokubo his space for a bit. You didn't want to irritate him too much that he follows through with his threats, or your presence becomes problematic. Instead, you hung around Lord X's world and occasionally bumped into Yokubo during his down time. The first time it happened, he seemed surprised by your presence.
"You're still here? I thought you would have been gone by now!" His voice was laced with annoyance, but you didn't care.
You chimed back, "Mmm, my kin are impatient, they do not wait to see if there is something here that they may want."
Yokubo crossed his arms as he spoke, "There is nothing for you here."
"Hehehe, You say that, buuut, I know you know what I mean," you winked at him, which made him fluster.
Yokubo struggled to react to your boldness. It was easy to dismiss attempts at ego-boosting language from vessels, as they could easily be trying to butter him up to earn a little bit of his mercy, and he didn't get much in terms of compliments from his lord or his fellow guardians, so hearing it from you - who appears to be risking themselves to be here - was throwing him for a loop. He didn't want to be distracted by you, as not only is it a risk to you both, (though more for you than him), he didn't want anyone to know that this being whom he still saw himself as above had caught his attention. Yes, he was, indeed, drawn to your chaotic nature. A mortal would bore him, he'd have to be so gentle, both with their emotions and their physicality, the fluctuation of their energy and their short life span... you had none of that which he deemed what made the others around him so romantically unappealing. But he had trouble making room for you with his ego. And you had just caught him lost in thought. He was snapped out of it by your discordant giggling.
"Hehehehe! What's wrong, Yoku? Cat got your tongue?"
Yokubo scoffed, "Ugh, no, of course not! Get out of my way - and DO NOT call me that." He pushed past you to walk briskly toward his quarters down the hall.

You did not, in fact, stop calling him Yoku. Much to his dismay, sometimes you'd call him that in front of his fellow guardians. It made him thoroughly embarrassed, and they would often snicker at his flustering and his clearly failed attempts to ignore you. You loved to watch him squirm, and Yokubo hated that you could do this to him. He hated even more that between your teasing, you ernestly complimented him as well.
"Hello, Yoku~," you chimed as you caught up with him while he was wandering the halls of X's castle on his downtime once more.
When you met up with him, walking at his side, the golden guardian rolled his eyes. "What could you possibly want now?"
"An answer to a simple question, is all..." You made your voice light and wistful, as if it would mean a lot to you if he would listen.
He slowed his walking to a halt, and looked down his nose at you, waiting for your question with a raised eyebrow and crossed arms.
"Ah, well, those markings on your extremities... they are kintsugi, are they not?"
"Do I look like pottery to you?" He frowned.
"Yes!" you exclaimed, merrily despite his superficial displeasure, "Beautiful pottery, a work of art! Not that I consider you to be an object, nor fragile as such fine ceramics tend to be, but rather... the markings capture the essence without suggesting the brokenness."
Yokubo stared at you in silence for a moment, his arms now down at his side, his head no longer tilted up in suggestion of his feeling of superiority. His frown had faded and his eye studied you, searching in your face for a hint of the disingenuous. He wanted to find a crack, like a twitch in your eye or the corner of your mouth teasing into your foolish little smirk... But instead, you stood there. That last sentence you spoke, said with a tone - not light and playful - but rather mater-of-fact. Yokubo found nothing. No chip in your resolve, no hint of a unseriousness. The guardian was horrified by your sincerity. Not because he didn't desire your compliments, but because he did, and he valued them so highly all of a sudden. He wasn't just charmed, he was touched. He didn't quite know what to say.
For once, you didn't tease him. You didn't poke at him for his extended silence, you studied his expression too, as it descended into confusion. Could he truly be humbled by a compliment?
Yokubo fumbled with his words for a moment, "Er, of- of course! All of the beauty and none of the imperfection, I-- Erm..." He fell silent for another beat, desperately trying to grasp for something to say. He exhaled, and quietly muttered out, "Thank you." Before speed-walking away.
You were as delighted as you were confused. A "thank you" leaving his lips felt almost unnatural, of course, unless he was saying so to his lord with the same proud tone he had always adopted. But, this time, it seemed just as earnest as you were being.
Oh no.

Yokubo had fallen for you, that much he had realized as he had noted how much you had been on his mind lately. It frustrated him to no end, of course. So much for not being distracted by you. He tried to channel this frustration into his work, but his lord and his fellow guardians could notice how short-tempered he had gotten. It was only a matter of time before his anger boiled over and he went to seek you out. After all, he feared that you would vanish in your boredom like the rest of your kind does, leaving him wanting something that he let slip through his fingers.
You only saw him, in some kind of rush, hastily plodding down the halls of X's castle. You stood right in his way, blocking a doorway, not aware that it was you he was looking for. You grinned at him mischievously, but that quickly faded as he grabbed your upper arms, pulled you out of the doorway and pinned you to a wall next to it. He had never initiated any physical contact with you, especially so firm and close. Thrilling! You gasped and giggled, gleefully looking at his intense expression. "Awe, no patience for my games today, Yoku?"
Wordlessly, he grabbed your chin, and felt your chaotic energy dissolve. You were taking this much more seriously all of a sudden. "You're not so much different from a brainworm," the guardian muttered, looking down his nose at you again.
"Stuck in your head like a song?" you queried, smiling a tad. It wasn't backed with your usual confidence, however. You couldn't quite read his expression.
"Devouring my thoughts. Making me dumb and angry. Debasing me to instinct, like an animal," He scowled, peeling his lips back and showing some of his sharp teeth, inherited to him by his lord. "It's a bad look, little bug. Should I look so temperamental around the vessels or guardians, I may lose their respect. On top of the embarrassing things you already do to me, this feels like torture."
You weren't sure what to do. His voice was calm, low and quiet, but his grip was firm and his expression was searing. It was making you nervous, reflected in your smile as it wavered as he spoke. His intense expression faltered for a moment as he chuckled
"What's wrong, little bug? Those words that you spoke, were they another little game of yours? Was such a spell not intended?" His grip on your arm had loosened. He feared, perhaps he was wrong.
Sensing his doubt, and watching his expression melt from anger to stress, you moved your hands up to his own arms to offer him a bit of comfort. "I meant every word." You stared into his eye, your smile fading, your expression deadly serious.
His body language relaxed, and then tensed again. His hands fell away from your arm and your chin, and then he suddenly wrapped his arms around you, and capturing your lips in a kiss.
Finally.
You melted at his affection, reciprocating his embrace, and burrowing your head into his shoulder when he pulled away from the kiss.
He had similarly relaxed once more, rubbing the back of your head. "You must feel so pleased with yourself..." He muttered, half-jokingly.

After that exchange, you became lovers. You became a part of Yokubo's ego - a vital organ keeping it strong. An insult to you was an insult to him, and as the other guardians became suspicious of your long stay, Yokubo became notably protective toward you as the other guardians occasionally slighted you behind your back. They picked up on the golden guardian's change of behavior quite quickly, as he had seemed to loathe you not too long ago. The more socially intuitive guardians, namely Zetsubo and Gekido, suspected a romantic relationship before all the others, but Lord X himself came to the conclusion all on his own.
He approached you for the first time, giving you a warning. "Yokubo is my strongest guardian, as I'm sure you know. I am to understand that killing you would be remarkably poor for his morale, but so long as you stay here, I should make something very clear to you: This is my domain. Under my rule. Yokubo isn't above my rule, so neither are you. There are not many who are not my kin who have stayed here in the past, it is a privilege. On top of which, Yokubo's position makes him a busy man. I hope to see that you do not interrupt or interfere with that."
You bow your head with a smile, "Of course, my lord! I knew what I was getting into."
The void being seemed pleased with the response. He concluded the discussion, "Excellent," and departed.
The guardians had their suspicions confirmed in another, much more embarrassing way.

Yokubo oft felt the thing he was the guardian of, like many of his guardian peers, but yearning alone was understandably emotionally distressing. Gekido could vent his anger all he wanted, Zetsubo could cry rivers if she wished, Ken'o never seemed happy, and Kyofuku was rarely ever downtrodden... but your dear Yoku's desire - specifically for intimacy - went unsatiated until you came along. As a result, you and your lover spent most of your time - now that a physically intimate relationship had been established - cuddling and kissing and sucking face in the quiet parts of Lord X's castle.
Yokubo would straddle over your lap as you sat in a lounge sofa, his lips on yours and your tongues pushing each other around. He was holding your face in his hands, and yours were trailing up his back, absolutely loving the attention. Through partly lidded eyes and the undivided attention you were living each other, you hadn't noticed the sound of the door facing the sofa opening. That was, until some movement behind your lover caught your eye.
Your eyelids flung open widely to observe Kyofuku, shit-eating grin plastered on his face as he caught you two in the act. Yokubo quickly realized your alarmed expression looking out into the distance and turned to observe his fellow guardian as well. Yokubo removed himself from over you and stood up, pointing at the guardian of joy.
"Kyofuku," he warned, "I swear, if you don't keep this quiet, I will-"
The clownish creature quickly turned and bolted down the hall as fast as possible.
Yokubo looked horrified. He stepped to chase after clown, but upon feeling some resistance as you tugged back on his arm, he doubled back and landed on the sofa, sitting next to you with his hand on his head.
"I wouldn't worry too much about it, Yoku... After all, your lord already knows." You offered him some comfort.
"He- he- ... Of... course he does." He sighed, relaxing a bit. "How do you know this?"
"He talked to me about you and I. It sounds like he keeps a very close eye on everyone here. He seemed to neglect to inform the others, however..."
"Ugh. If it were up to me, I'd make sure none of them knew..." He ran his fingers through his quills.
"Really? Do I truly embarrass you that much, Yoku?" You smirked at him a bit, poking fun at his reaction to the situation.
"No! Well- In the past you certainly embarrassed me, but... I'd much rather avoid the judgement."
You cocked your head, smile growing wider and more mischievous as you metaphorically dug your fingers into his words. "Judgement? The strongest of the guardians, and he is afraid of their judgement? Surely, you're strong enough to take a little bit of teasing, right, Yoku?"
"Wh-what?! I never said I feared their judgement-"
"You said you wanted to avoid it, to me that sounds like much the same thing."
"It is not, I simply want to be taken seriously!"
"Surely, yourself alone is enough to conjure respect?"
"It is! I am! Oh- you rotten little bug." He scrunched up his nose at you but his eyes harbored no such anger. He lowered his voice, brushing your forearm with his hand. "If there was anything I was weak to, it is your teasing."
You whispered in response, "Ooh, don't let the others hear that, hehehe~"
[Sorry for my long absence, friends! I've been chipping away at this for the past few days while also enjoying my break. I hope you folks enjoy this one!
I’m working on a Sonic PC AU that was made in 2022-2023 by me, comic is done and I need some voice actors, I’m gonna have to need:
-Tails: actual Sonic character
-Gekido: like Lord X Wrath’s one or similar (I found someone but he still hasn’t sent me the lines)
-Ken’o: same as Gekido
-Kofuku: same or similar to Daycare attendant
Add all the sfx you feel better with, all I care about is that the voices are understandable and expressive.
If anyone is interested lemme know. You tell me which character from the list you want to voice or try and I’ll give you the dialogues. I hope I can find someone, and btw, I’ll be doing some more comics with different characters, such as Amy, Kyofu, Zetsubo… but when that time comes I’ll make another cast
I wanna make a comic about this thingy cus it’s a lot of lore atp but im so lazy 💔
I feel like this video is kinda cringe but meh
CONTEXT: Back in 2017 I made my own sona for self-shipping, atm I use another one but I decided to give it some lore, they’re still the same person (to avoid proshipping or stuff my sona is an adult, here they didn’t really fell in love, they related to each other and became friends)
