A project I made for Lair Games 2026! (AKA TMNT Art Fight!) It was super fun tackling an animation project and getting to include everyone else! I love lair games! It's been super fun every year!

So as a kid Jim is found by Blinky after his parents had a nasty altercation, which scared him.
He kept Jim underground because he was scared of other humans taking him (bigger and not so nice humans)
ARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!! took a liking to Jim and now Blinky and Arghamont are raising a human child (hooray)
Kanjigar was on the search for Jim’s parents in the meanwhile. Draal and Jim become the best of friends, ultimately leading to their brotherhood.
After 2 weeks, Kanjigar finds a lonesome, stressed out, sleep deprived Barbara Lake on her porch with posters all over of Jim and he tries to get her attention (because we like to scare tired people). She is not even phased by the troll standing on her porch, she just wants her son back, so he offers to take her to troll market because he’s seen the boy.
She has no choice but to go with him, and so she follows a large troll in a suit of armour. As they get to Heartstone Trollmarket, he opens the door with a horngäzel. They travel down the glowing ore staircase and walk much further in this place.
A civilisation of trolls thrive in this place and she’s not even concerned or scared. I think her fears are all gone because her child going missing is the main one, and if she couldn’t solve that problem and contain that fear, what fears are left for her?
They go to a little cavern with piles of books and pages. There, they hear the laughter that a mother could distinguish from the cacophony of sounds the world has to offer. Her son, the boy who ran, is in this room and has been this whole time.
She is visibly upset at him, scolding him for going missing. She sees him having fun, and she has to unfortunately spoil the fun by urging they go home. :(
James is lwk upset at this and he decides to like beg his mom with puppy dog eyes (I’m actually gonna draw this) to visit occasionally (after school everyday) and Barbara agrees :3 she is very impressed with how well they took care of him.
I’m not sure what to do here in order to make Jim stay in heartstone troll market permanently.. well options that don’t involve me killing Barbara (no no no, I need her for some Stricklake) idk any ideas?
