The Violet Trace

I want to share my story The Violet Trace. I wrote it with a lot of love and I also designed the book cover myself. The story follows a girl named Ava who can see violet marks that are left behind by strong emotions. When a famous man is found dead in a strange way Ava is pulled into a world full of danger and hidden powers. She meets Elias who is powerful and mysterious and together they try to understand what is really happening around them.

The story has mystery slow burn romance and a world where magic hides beneath bright city lights. I am proud of how it turned out and I hope more readers can discover it.

JUST FINISHED A COMIC COMMISSION AND LOST MY MIND

okay but WHY does finishing a comic commission feel like surviving an emotional war 😭 panels were drawn. emotions were FELT. crosshatching was abused.

there is something dangerously intimate about illustrating someone else’s story frame by frame. like yes hello i now know this character better than myself??? we are spiritually linked forever???

huge thank you to the client for trusting me with their comic — i laughed, i stared at the screen for too long, i questioned my life choices, and i loved every second of it.

anyway i’m done. my hands hurt. my heart hurts. comic artists deserve naps and snacks 🖤✍️

this chapter has been sitting in my head for a while and seeing it come to life visually makes it feel real in a way I can’t explain. it’s soft but emotional and a little messy in the best way. I put so much care into this and I cannot wait to share it with you

A new chapter of my story The Violet Trace is now live on Wattpad. In this chapter Ava gets closer to the truth and what she finds is not comforting. The violet traces are stronger than before and they point toward someone who should not know about her power. Elias shows another side of himself and Ava starts to realize that trusting him may come with a cost.

This chapter focuses more on tension quiet fear and the feeling that someone is always watching. The city feels alive and dangerous and Ava is no longer sure who is on her side.

I also designed the cover for this story myself and this chapter is very important for the direction of the plot.

Some days I move forward Not because I believe But because stopping feels heavier And I have learned the weight of staying still

I carry doubt like a second heartbeat Close, constant, inconvenient Yet proof that I am alive enough To wonder if I can become more

I am still learning what courage means It is not confidence It is choosing myself Even when I feel unfinished

If growth is slow Let it be honest If hope is fragile Let it be mine

PRIDE AND PREJUDICE

The morning felt cold enough to hide my breath, yet warm enough to make my heart race. The field around us was quiet. The sky was pale gold. And he stood in front of me like he had been walking toward this moment for years.

I could feel the world slow down as he reached for my hands. His touch was careful, almost scared, as if I might slip away like a story he had read too many times and still did not trust to end well.

You are impossible he whispered. Not angry. Not sad. Just full of wonder. Like he finally understood something he had been trying to solve forever.

I wanted to look away, but his forehead rested on mine, soft as a promise. I could hear his breath. I could hear my own. I could hear the whole sky holding itself still for us.

I never wanted to be impossible I said. My voice trembled the way leaves tremble when the wind is gentle but sure.

He held my hands a little tighter. You are. And you make me want to rise to meet you.

For a moment it felt like everything around us shone brighter. The field. The air. Even the silence. It all felt like a page from a book where love is not loud, but deep. Quiet. Certain.

His eyes closed as if the closeness hurt him in the sweetest way. And I let mine close too. Because sometimes the strongest kind of love is the one you feel before you ever speak it aloud.

In that soft place between one breath and another, I knew something with absolute clarity.

Some people do not enter your life. They enter your story. And once they do, every chapter after them feels different. Brighter. Braver. Warmer.

And as we stood there, forehead to forehead in the early morning light, it felt like the beginning of a chapter I would never forget... Coming Soon...

Maybe Another World's Magic.....

Sometimes love arrives the way a quiet song fills a room. You do not notice the beginning. Only the warmth it slowly leaves on your skin.

I met him on a rainy afternoon when the world felt a little too heavy for my small shoulders. My hair was a mess. My heart felt even messier. I was sitting under the old library window where the raindrops raced each other down the glass. I tried to pretend I was fine. I tried so hard that even my breathing sounded fake.

Then he walked in.

He looked like someone who belonged to brighter places. His smile reminded me of summer mornings when everything feels clean and new. He saw me hiding behind my book and for a moment the whole room got still. Like even the rain wanted to watch us.

He did not ask if he could sit next to me. He just did. It felt natural. It felt like the universe had been saving that exact spot for him.

You look like you are waiting for magic he whispered with a small laugh.

I looked at him. Really looked. And something in his eyes felt like a secret waiting to be told. I did not know his name. I did not know where he lived. But I knew he saw right through me in a way no one else ever had.

Maybe I am waiting for something I said. I tried to smile but my voice shook.

He glanced at the window. At the storm outside. Then he said the kind of thing you remember for the rest of your life.

Maybe magic is waiting for you too.

I swear the room glowed just a little after that. Like the rain wanted to blush.

We sat together for hours. We shared stories about silly things. Dreams we were afraid to say out loud. And somewhere between the softness of his voice and the quiet in the library, something bloomed. Something gentle. Something bright.

I do not know if it was love. Not yet. But it felt like the very start of it. Like the first page of a book you already know you are going to love forever.

And that was the moment I realized this story of mine might finally have a little light. Maybe even a little magic too.

Me reading another person's writing: Oh they missed a period there, no worries mistakes happen :) Three adjectives in a sentence? Adverbs for days? No worries I love descriptions and this story is fire.

Me seeing the same thing in my work: Wow am I illiterate? Am I actually ok? Who the actual fuck told me I can write so I can go and curse their entire family for the time it took for me to carefully craft this GARBAGE.
