so according to the plot erik moves to the city to be close to both of his ex wives and spend time with the kids, he lives on his own and decides to get a dog to feel less lonely at home. his dog is an anxious doberman girl that has been mistreated by her previous owners and ended up in a shelter where erik found her.

charles’ pup is a chatty and affectionate little cocker spaniel girl gifted to him by raven some time after his injury to make him go out his flat more. it worked. charl lets her roam without the leash when they’re at the park (boo) so everyone on the block knows her 🥺
