É pra já! Lennon e Ewan ambos são donos de estabelecimentos no Beco Diagonal (não lembro de o Ewan é dono mesmo ou só trabalha, @gabs) e ambos trabalham com assuntos "tenebroso". Lenny tem a Obscurus Books, que publica e vende livros de terror, crimes, mistério e assuntos macabros, o Ewan tem a Terrortours, que vende pacotes de viagens e turismo para destinos bizarros. Ele tem uma relação meio de parceria um com o outro, mas vivem em eterna implicância. A Lenny diz que o Ewan é mentiroso por inventar histórias pra impulsionar as vendas e ela, como amante de true crime, acha isso ridículo. Ewan acha ela prepotente e implicante por isso, claro. Eles ficaram mais próximos porque, durante o episódio do show do Lorcan no Beco Diagonal, Ewan deu uma ajuda pra ela no meio da confusão. Com essa proximidade veio também a confusão, porque a Lennon é a filha de ouro dos Snyde e, mesmo que não concorde com fundamentos puristas e se afaste de política, ela ainda tem um apego grande a isso. Mas convivendo com o Ewan, principalmente sendo acompanhante dele para o casamento de Grishemma, ela percebeu que a vida que ela sempre levou não era das melhores e as coisas que ela foi ensinada a acreditar são, na verdade, muito absurdas. Isso, somado ao fato dos pais estarem pressionando ela para casar com algum herdeiro de família sangue-puro, tem deixado ela cada vez mais contra a parede. Ela já não acha mais o Ewan irritante, e começa a sentir uma certa inveja da relação dele com a família e da forma que ele encara a vida, acho que isso é que ela acha que impulsiona ela a querer passar mais tempo com ele. O fato dele não ser pressionado a nada e poder fazer o que ele quiser e bem entender é algo que a Lennon nunca viveu na vida por ter pais adotivos extremamente exigentes, que faziam ela se provar o tempo todo para ganhar qualquer atenção deles. Eventualmente ela vai perceber que ela quer ficar perto do Ewan porque ele faz ela sentir uma segurança e tranquilidade que ela nem sabia que precisava. E num futuro ele vai se tornar a única pessoa que ela sente que pode contar e confiar.

I keep seeing my sister from afar sending some mixed messages with her eyes. But weddings are great, if they’re not arranged.

You really think I look that great? I'm feeling weird with this dress, but it's the confidence that counts, right? You knew that your sister would be insistent about us. She seems like one of a kind and I think she scares me a little bit. Yeah, lucky Grisha and Gemma for having this.

I would be enjoying a little more if I was wearing a suit like a lot of woman here. But yes, isn't so bad. It was a very unique wedding and now I can see why people like weddings so much. 

Dance? You and me? I'm not really the dancing kind, Ewan. I will definitely step on all of your toes. You don't need this misery upon you, trust me.

Yeah, I get it. Let’s just save us both time and not talk about that. I know you’re not like them… but I’d rather not discuss this kind of thing. Well, for you it shouldn’t be difficult to find something, I guess?

Well, my family doesn’t pressure me to get married, have kids. That’s my sisters job sometimes, but mostly we know we have our own time. Yeah, I’m messing with you but it would be funny to say at least. Keep that in mind if you change your mind.

Well, my family doesn't believe in any other kind of marriage, so yes. In fact, maybe I'll be the next one, who knows. 

I rather not discuss this kind of thing either, so we're good. I don't know? I'll probably look up for something black and simple here on the alley, but I know woman need to be all dressed up to this things. If I could wear a suit would be easier. Wish me luck. 

Lucky you, Cooper. You sisters seems like good people, mine are kinda of a mess. If you want to prank your friends and family, it's up to you. I'll try not to spoil the fun.

No need to be defensive, I was just wondering. They don’t know you are friends with people like me, is that what are you saying? It’s okay, no judgment. Almost sound this a burden for you, but alright. It’s the 18th of August so… you have time to figure out your clothes or whatever.

No, you don’t have to. Why would I ask you to do something like that? We go with friends from work. That’s what we are, right? But if you wanted to go the other route, I’d be fine with that.

With happy people, dancing, eating, drinking... Not just a formal event where the groom and bride barely know each other. 

I hate to say that, but yes. For them, this is a problem, but I don't care about blood status. It's not a burden... It's just complicated. Okay, like I said, i'll be there. I don't have a nice dress to wear, but i'll figure something out. 

I don't know, I thought that maybe your family is being a pain in your ass and you needed me to pretend to be your girlfriend for them to shut up and leave you alone. Yeah, we're friends from work. Oh, you wouldn't, you're just messing with me.

I know about your family, but I’m not asking your family to go with me. But if you’re against something or don’t want to mix with us for some reason. Just say.

I have been at cerimonies, but they were all little and boring. Not a real wedding, you know?

I'm not like my family, Cooper. I already told you that, they just don't know that I have... Friends? We are friends, I guess, that aren't up to their beliefs and expectations. Which is fine by me. Well, I have to say yes since I owe you a favor. Just tell me when and where, i'll be there. 

Just to clarify, I'm don't have to pretend to be your girlfriend or something like that, right? You'll tell your sisters that I'm just a friend from work.

That’s pretty much what I said. Yes, a wedding you don’t like weddings? Well, like is a strong word. But I think after all, we can talk without any violence. Are you saying you don’t think you’re a pretty girl? I mean, the nice part needs a little bit of work. Well, I’d be comfortable with someone I already know, since it’s my cousin’s wedding.

Yeah, you're damn right. 

I've never been to a wedding before, so I don't even know what to do, but I guess you should ask someone that it's closer to you than me. Of course I'm pretty, Cooper, and nice too. I just thought you didn't really like me. Oh, it's a family wedding, so your sisters are going to be there. Great.  You know my family isn't really well seen, right?

Would you rather spend two years with your soul mate only to have them die and you never love again or spend your life with someone nice you settled for?

Like I said before, I'm not the hopeless romantic kind. I don't believe in soul mates, so I would be perfectly okay by spending my life with someone nice. 

It's more than a lot of people can ask for.

129. Would you rather the general public think you are a horrible person but your family is very proud of you, or your family thinks you are a horrible person, but the general public be very proud of you?

You should ask this to my sister. She would have a better answer than me. 

But this is my reality. My "parents" are very much proud of me since I've always been their golden girl, but I've also been thought that blood is everything. I know there are people dying because of blood status and I don't like this, but I can't do nothing about it. Mr. and Mrs. Snyde made me who I am today and I can't just... Yeah, I guess you have your answer. I'm a shitty person and I try not to think about it too much.

Would you rather never have to clean a bathroom again or never have to do dishes again?

Well, it only takes a few cleaning spells, but I guess never have to do the dishes. 

You don't have to clean your bathroom everyday, but you have to do your dishes on daily basis. The less work the better.

Would you rather be famous for inventing a deadly new weapon or invent something that helps the world but someone else gets all the credit for inventing it?

That's hard... If my deadly weapon could be used only in people that deserves to die, could it be considered something that also helps the world? I don't know. I would like the fame very much, but I guess the world it's already too bad, so I think I should invent something that helps everyone. 

Even if another looser gets all the credit.

198. Would you rather be constantly tired no matter how much you sleep or constantly hungry no matter what you eat? Assuming that there are no health problems besides the feeling of hunger and sleepiness.

Constantly tired, no doubt. I love to eat and I eat my feelings, so I would be a terrible person If this was taken from me.

I'm not a hopeless romantic, and five million galleons could change my life. So, yeah, money it is.

Since you're about to find yourself a nice husband... would you rather be married to a 10 with a bad personality or a 6 with an amazing personality?

Is everyone aware of this? That's... Great. 

Well, this is obvious. A 6 with an amazing personality. It's better have someone kind, funny and reliable by your side than someone shallow and good looking.
