if by worse, you mean them having been surrounded by abyss order agents and just barely defeating them and getting out with their lives in tact... then, yes, it just kept getting worse.

"i can't believe i listened to you, and now, i'm going to die in here!" ignoring the fact that they are both immortal, and victor couldn't die even if he wanted to... saying this, victor quickly steps away from the now dead enemies, "if the fatui start showing up, i'll just assume you are the most cursed man celestia could send my way."

victor hardly acknowledged the fact the bus had stopped, preferring to keep himself holed up on the bus, and was enjoying the peace and quiet that fell across it with most of the other sinners out of the bus for a bit. that was until...

"...usually i'd just outright say no." he begins, "but... fine, you win." aka... victor knows better than to try and argue with any of the sinners if they're trying to drag him out of the bus. "what did you even have in mind?"
