Reese hated getting stuck in her head. It happened quite often—she just acted like it didn’t. She would zone out, the memories would come flooding back, and she’d shake her head and refocus on what was happening in the present before she could start crying.

Today she was lost in thought and couldn’t get out of it. She was leaning back in a chair in the infirmary, sitting at Wills desk. She’d insisted that she was allowed too since Will was her little brother—ignoring Will’s annoyance.

She was staring straight ahead. Her little brothers, how were they doing? Her parents, had they divorced? Circe. Why did what she said get stuck in her head? That’s when Reese snapped out of it as she realized she had zoned out staring at someone’s face.

“Oh- im so sorry, hi!”
