âAaaah, Itâs been a while since Weâve felt this way. Letâs relish this feeling for a while longer.â
This was probably the strangest thing that had ever really happened to her, at least at the time, but it defiantly toke the cake on the weirdest thing yet. Just moment ago she was walking about the park, late at night as she usually would; fining nothing more than peace from walking around in the dark. This was one of her favorite times of year, not because she was gothic but it certainly helped, the creep factor always seemed to be turned up. Ghost types seemed to find this time of year the best as well, something she could find herself in common with them. This wasnât the time for that though, for she was standing in an oddly Arabian castle? At least it looked that way, as from what she could ever recall from things sheâd seen browsing the web. It was very similar, so making the assumption on it was probably the right thing to do.
She could probably stand there like a dolt, while being here, but it surely wouldnât get her out of here any quicker. Surely someone lived in a place like this, right? Oh god she could only hope so. With a deep sigh she adjusted her lady top before taking a step forward, dark heels making light clicks on the floor below her. She could just wonder about until she could someone, but that would be stupid. So why not just call out for someone? âHello?â She called out curiously in her surrounding, âanybody hooome?~ Youâre home is pretty cool I gotta say, spooky, just what I like. BUT.. I donât exactly know how I got here soooo⊠some assistance would be totally approximated.â
Through the haze of his high, Khalid heard the echoâs of a guest? His bright blue eyes languidly surveyed his surroundings. Propped up on one of his many pillows that lay strewn on his chamber floor, he leaned into the sound trying to pinpoint where it was coming from. It was coming from somewhere down the corridor leading to his room. The ghostly king smiled, letting vapor trickle from his lips. Itâs been a while since he last had a guest enter his palace. This month had to be one of his favorite as he felt his true ghostly nature coil around him in a dark embrace. So this person liked his castle? All the more for him to find out who this person is.
âIn here, darling~! Donât be afraid, all will be answered in time~â

She placed a hand over her mouth, trying her best not to laugh at him in his face. She even looked over to see what he was getting and it happened to be sushi. Really? And here she thought he wouldnât even come by to be seen in a place like this! ESPECIALLY without his little disguise.Â
âOooohhh, embarrassed are ya?â She giggled out, looking up at him as she placed her groceries down, â Iâm surprised youâd come to a place like this when you can easily get someone to make you something to eat.â
âIâm not embarrassed.â The swivel of his head, avoiding eye contact with her, said otherwise. âI donât usually come to this sort of place anyway.â He sniffed indignantly; his haughty personality surfacing to hide his apparent discomfort at the whole conversation. Hurry it up already! He growled out the words in his mind, glaring at the customers before him.
He looked over his shoulder with an obvious pout. âEvery time I ask for Inari sushi to be made at home, itâs always gobbled up by my father before I get to have any. This is the only way I can have some of my own. Plus...â His gaze turned away from her for a second but returned with a light dusting of his cheeks to boot. âI like the taste of these. Itâs a cheap taste, but I canât get enough of them.â
The day had been rough and long. Remmi had to deal with many problems throughout the day and even had to come home to an empty fridge. Just great! She was quite thankful for the fact that she lived quite close to a nearby corner market as well as knowing just what was there for her to get.Â
Packing up her bag and writing out a quick list, Remmi was quickly out and within her little car towards the small market. Some ramen sounded good and she could even probably add some eggs and fish to the side as well! Yum! Once she got there, she quickly parked and made her way in and into the aisles of what she needed for her last minute meal.Â
She checked off all of items off her list as she headed towards the front and to the next available cashier. Walking up, she was shocked to see someone wearing a suit at such a late hour. â Must have work late, huh?â she asked with a small smirk. Seeing the face of dressed up man made her stomach turn as she raised a brow at him.
ââŠRyouta?â
She noticed him, of course she noticed him. Small beads of sweat formed on his face as he tried his best to ignore her. An eye twitching gave away his desire to be out of there as soon as possible. âYou have the wrong person, sorry.â
Why did he say that? Now she really knows that itâs him. Curse this long line with stupid people wanting to see if their coupon was still valid. Just hurry up and pay for your damn items and get the hell out of the way. He was pondering in his mind if he should use some of his psychic abilities to manipulate the customer to hurry the hell up. His fox ears flattened on top of his head. He really didnât want to be there right now. Â

It just had to be one of those days. Ryouta sighed as he made his way out of the company building he worked for. He politely waved off other employees with a smile, but inside his mind he just wanted to scream. âGood work today.â âtake careâ âGet home safe.â He used those ending comments everyday. He fiddled with his phone, dialing a number and immediately the other had answered. âHey, yeah, cancel the return trip. Iâll be arriving later than usual. Something came up.â He hung up the phone before hearing the reply and shoved it back into his slacks.Â
He hailed a cab and had to repeat his destination twice because he had mumbled it the first time. With a huff he repeated himself, reddening in the face. His stop was about a ten minutes ride away from his office; paying the cab driver and stepping out of the car, he scanned his destination, a small market.
Ryouta surveyed the aisles, coming to the one that he practically knew by heart. He loaded up his small basket with the item of his interest and headed for the checkout line. Placing the items on the conveyor belt, four containers of inari sushi, when he heard someone coming in line behind him. Being polite, he placed a divider between his items and the other customerâs. Stealing a glance next to him to see who they were, he froze, clamming up immediately and his mind reeled. Why did it have to be you!?Â

âThereâs absolutely no way Iâll make it out of here alive.â
Normally words like that would be saved for some epic lava dungeon or maybe some sick chainsaw wielding maniac. Cierra felt them equally appropriate for her trip to the mall. Donât get her wrong, itâs the urban jungle with nearly every thing a person or poke could want within walking distance.
A Truly Innovative Dream.
The only problem was that she forgot it was heavy rush lunch time and she was trying to fight her way out of the food court. Was it so wrong to want ice cream while you were on your way to Gamestop? Survey says yes, very wrong, suffer for your decisions.Â
Just as she neared the edge of the sea of bodies she stumbles, falling right into another body and throwing her arms around them so no one, or no ice cream, went flying.
âHoly shit!â
It was just another day at the mall. Mark slid his way through the crowds with ease, balancing a tray of food in one hand and a drink in the other. Days off from work were both a blessing and a curse for him. Blessing because, well, no work, but then heâd have to do the things that he put off because of work. âErrand boyâ seemed like just another title that heâd acquired.Â
It would have been nice to just relax and have a bite to eat, sipping away his worries with an ice cold drink before carrying on with his to-do list, but it seems that fate held something entirely different for him today.
He felt it before he saw or heard it. Having someone smack into you, when you yourself are moving forward, hurts. An object in motion stays in motion, unless acted upon by an outside force. Mark was able to stop...
But the food on his tray, that was a different story.
He could hear the Ave Maria chorus in his mind as the plate of steamed rice, teriyaki chicken and broccoli beef slowly slipped off of the tray with the grace of a falling leaf announcing the coming of Autumn, or so thatâs how he saw it. Everything seemed to happen in slow motion, but it was all over within a second and Mark just stood there, staring at what was left of his meal with eyes clouding with emotion, not really paying attention to whom had caused the accident in the first place. He then spoke two words dripping with sadness and grief. âMy beef.â Â
