Albert Bertelsen is a Danish painter, usually regarded as the oldest practicing artist in Denmark at this time. He is 98 today.

He has traveled widely, including Norway, the Faroe Isles, and France and painted what he saw. As an artist he is auto-didact and has a massive production, specializing in portraits, landscape painting (usually with buildings as in the example above) and paintings of churches…
