Anyway, based on that one episode in s2 where Karai tried to capture April for Shredder, and the turtles had to save her (also thats how they made up after the whole batdad situation). Obviously, she couldn't defeat them on her own, but I wish we could see April putting up a bit more of a fight.

sorry maybe im too much of a ‘12 leo hypebeast, but why are we acting like it was completely crazy of him to dislike (or even hate) slash and refuse working with him after he tried to kill the turtles Twice

thinking about this again… when working with jack kurtzman slash tries to excuse it as “just the mutagen messing him up” but like… the newtralizer stuff happened a WHILE after he got mutated. and he was at least cognizant enough to recognize he was in the wrong after raph saved him, which doesnt seem like something someone in a “mutagen blind rage” could do, yknow? like there was a clear thought process there.

so yeah me personally, id be put off by slash trying to team up suddenly and even MORE put off by him forming this random team (of reformed villains) out of the blue, & trying to dismiss his homicidal actions & hatred towards the turtles that lasted a Significant amount of time after mutation as “mutagen rage.” like it seems like the switch-up to allyship wouldnt have happened if he really was so under the influence of mutagen, and the rage would have been much shorter in duration like other characters, not lasting apparent weeks-months.

i mean, it is canon in the show that almost every person/animal who goes through mutation usually ends up being at least somewhat volatile for a period after, to be fair. but in a more meta sense, these periods of volatility are usually used as a way to introduce a villain or conflict and short in duration if we see the character more than once. so it makes sense for slash to have some kind of volatility after mutating, just not for so long and reversed by thinking rationally rather than external influence

so yeah, i get the frustration in leo refusing to work with the mutanimals Solely because he doesnt trust slash, especially when the world is so at stake. but like i also cant blame him for being Highly suspicious of the dude that tried to kill his family twice lol

I think leo is a poet. or, he has a poet's heart, at least. i mean literally, a poet is someone who writes poetry, i guess, which i'm not convinced he does. but some poets are born; others, forged. I think he has a naturally tender and wholesome aspect that draws him to beautiful writing. I think he could stay up late and read book after book after book until he's weeping alone in his bedroom. i think he secretly falls in love with gentle eyes and old pictures and the smell of spring. i think he is a bisexual
