I just got hit with the taste of syrup in my mouth. It reminded me of a distant memory. My mom got up and she made pancakes for everyone and they were the best pancakes because they had sprinkles and chocolate chips in them. They were also shaped like mickey mouse who me and my brother loved. The smell of those pancakes were perfect. I can still hear the pan sizzling as they were bring cooked. I can taste the orange juice and syrup still. I would drown my pancakes in syrup.
I wish that happened more often.
I remember first learning that you can cry from any emotion, that emotions are chemical levels in your brain and your body is constantly trying to maintain equilibrium. so if one emotion sky rockets, that chemical becomes flagged and signals the tear duct to open as an exit to release that emotion packaged neatly within a tear. Everything made sense after learning that. That sudden stability of your emotions after crying. How crying is often accompanied by the inability to feel any other emotion in that precise moment. And it is especially beautiful knowing that it is even possible to experience so much beauty or love or happiness that your body literally can’t hold on to all of it. So what I’ve learned is that crying signifies that you are feeling as much as humanely possible and that is living to the fullest extent. So keep feeling and cry often and as much as needed

Me age 15: I genuinely hate being around large groups of people I feel claustrophobic in the high school cafeteria and its hard to connect to people beyond meaningless chit chat I've seen others say to their friends. I can't tell how far is too far when it comes to playful insulting sarcasm. My own emotions seems to be in a different language and I cant relate to others interests.
Psychologist: maybe your autistic? You dont display any symptoms...
Me age 18: I only have like two friends and I just get hyper focused on some things and it's hard to multitask socially. I dont go to parties often because its hard to read social cues between people and I find it easier to be alone than to be around others. I often feel stressed in large groups of people and I hate the spotlight I feel like a deer in headlights and panic. I cant discypher my own emotions most of the time to I shove them away until I have a meltdown and it's an endless cycle.
Psychologist: hey you have autism and its aspergers like your brother has. its hereditary and slightly different in women than men.

lmao harrison ford was very open about his dislike for star wars and no one batted an eye, but now that john boyega’s contract has ended and he’s allowed to speak his mind, people are calling him “unprofessional” just because y’all don’t necessarily agree with his opinions?? y’all love to laugh about how much robert pattinson hates twilight but now when a black man jokes and talks about his own issues he had with a project he’s been a part of for years (after dealing with direct racism from fans, his character and story line getting shafted, etc) it’s suddenly an issue?? hmmmm………
