This year, I will be writing a novel called The Gypsy Rose for the NaNoWrimo. For roughly four months, I will leave the novel up for everyone to see. I plan on using this as a journal for the crazy times of writing at least 1600 words a day and drinking coffee by the pot. Day 1 Word Count: 2003 Today seemed to be going well. Phantom of the Opera is still playing in my head, but that's ok. I actually love that musical. I am very happy with this mornings writing session and have a pretty good start for this novel. Can't wait to see the Fin in action and watch sparks fly. Day 2 Word Count: 3203 Just couldn't get the time today to write, bu

Almost halfway there and loving it.
NaNoWriMo Update
This will be my second year competing in NaNoWrimo and loving it. I am working on a romance novel called Gypsy Rose. For more information about the novel, check out lepegg.com.

Truthfully, October is always a busy month for me. I have birthdays and preparations for winter. This year is a little different though. With The Dark Rose of Rosehill being available in paperback and ebook format on November 19, I am getting nervous and excited. I am also doing the Mason's Haunted House in Winchester, Indiana on October 27. Feel free to visit the mad scientist. Test subjects are always so hard to find.
Weddings are wonderful and I had the chance to go to two of them this month. Every wedding have its unique spin to it. A blend of the couple that makes it that much more a celebration of two becoming one. So congrats to the lucky couples and may you have a long and happy life together.
The NanoWrimo is almost here and I'll be posting a survey at lepegg.com to help me decide what I want to write. I'm still waffling with a tale of a Gypsy traveler, 20s style detective story, or nice classy romance. I would really appreciate the help and look to the choatic, crazy times of guzzling coffee and energy drinks all while hitting my crazy word count.
27 days and 50,000+ words later
As of 11:57 pm last night, my word count was 50,299 words for the julnowrimo making me a winner. Sad part, I still need to finish the novel, but it feels good to be closer to finishing a two year old novel.
I am currently preparing for the Julwrimo. Looks like it's going to be a surprise to see what comes out in the next 31 days. WIll I work on a sequel or maybe write something completely new? Hmm...six hours and counting before the polls are closed and I must either write the winning idea or choose something. Either way, July is going to be crazy.
Don't forget to vote for your favorite story idea for the julwrimo at lepegg.com
Visiting the family this week, I realize where I would be if it hadn’t have the support I’ve gotten throughout the years. I have always had a book in my hand or working on writing my own stories. Now I write novels with several books already planned in my head. So I still have several projects left. The sequel to Scarlet Threads is starting to come along pretty well and with the Julwrimo is just around the corner, I’m still trying to pick something to write. So far my choices seem to be a 20s style detective story, a classy dirty romance, or the second part of Rise of the Pheonix. So please lend me your mouse and pick a story idea at lepegg.com. The winning selection will be shown here on the site August 2012.
I am excited to announce that I have added a poetry section to my webpage. Please feel free to check it out at le.pegg.com and if you want, leave a comment or suggestion.
This sounds crazy, but I'm going to do it. I'm going to do the julwrimo and write a 50,000 word novel in July after doing the Nanowrimo in November 2011. I'm just stuck over which story to use since I'm allowed to do anything I want old, unfinished, and new. Visit lepegg.com and help me choose the story.

Happy writing
Thank you, again
I would like to thank everyone who has bought a copy of Scarlet Threads. If you have read the book, please feel free to write a review on amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com. I would also love to hear from you whether it's a comment or question. You can reach me at [email protected].
