Do you have any other platform where you post artwork?
Hi yes! Check out my instagram @sxchiiÂ
Medicine and medical advancements have no doubt accelerated our society, blessed life upon people who were once deemed dead, and have given people equal opportunity to pursue dreams despite their disabilities. However, the purpose of this artwork is to illustrate the negative repercussions of medicine. It depicts the loss of a persons essence after repeated exposure to this medical world; that even though your insides are being fixed and readjusted, there is an emotional loss that no drug, ultrasound or surgery can replenish.

Final project at my Brown pre-college program// acrylic and mixed media (in all honesty, I grabbed everything in hindsight and threw it onto the canvas). This is possibly the scariest and most rewarding painting I've ever mustered. It depicts a piece of my summer which felt like decaying flowers, fireworks and something else entirely. I'm not too sure, but I liked it.
Our first assignment during my stay at Brown university// "Invented Species." I remember lugging this project around with me throughout campus; weaving through neuroscience students studying at the quad and through Thayer street which was constantly perfumed with the delectable aroma of Chipotle. It endured a lot of crap I must say â even got hit by a frisbee on the main green (hence it's crumpled nature which I attempted to edit out).
do you copyright your photos of your artwork when posting on tumblr?
I do not.
