Yes!  That’s why the look on her face made me sad.  To me, it was…I dunno.  She doesn’t want to be Mrs. Hughes anymore.  She married the man she loves and now can’t even be called by her new name the majority of the time.  And how it must have hurt that so many people were happy to not have to call her anything else.  I think it was Carson’s idea and she just went along with it.  Maybe it goes back to her, “We’ll be doing things your way for the next thirty years,” or maybe it was her giving over to something she didn’t want because he’d conceded over the reception.

I don’t know.  I do know that I hate how even Anna and Bates were in on the, “Oh we’re so happy we don’t have to call her something new,” mess.

I like to think The Carsons have elected to keep her name as "Mrs. Hughes" because "Mrs. Carson" is her bedroom persona and they'd hate to mix business with pleasure.

Kiss on the lips translation: “I love you”
