I don't like Bridgerton. Too much sex, the plots are a bit childish, the problems are not really so, but caused by too much pride or too much silliness. But the 3th season.... I am 52 years old and in ALL my life not a time, not a single one, the female protagonist of a love story was a beautiful, curvy girl. The heroine worth the love of the hero was a beautiful haetereal, thin lady. I am chubby and I can never relate in a main character. I am so overwelmed, really. So so happy. Penelope is beautiful. I really tought they would make her lose eight, and instead no. It's a little revolution. The first time in 52 years I will identify myself in a lady on the screen, in a lovestory. What a time we live in.

This month I have had a great disappointment as a reader. I think it 's because the book which disappointed me so much is bound to my Youth. I read Flambards as a young girl, and watched the tv drama. I was so in love with Dick at the time! He was so kind and strong and a good young man. I was so happy when Christina meets him again and eventually marries him! Some week ago I discovered there was a fourth book of the serie. I was so happy at first and so sad after a few chapters. They break up in a way so sad, so wrong! They can't handle the difference of status, Christina falls in love with another man, which is ridicolous, because she loved Dick all her life, and I am so sad. I would prefer to not know anything about this other book. I know it' s a bit silly and childish, but was a dear, dear memory.
