Hi, decided to join in for the whole benafemme that went down in yfmblr, and a point I want to bring up is how patriarchy wins when we start to see men as oppressed. The confession was blatantly misogynistic and targeted, it baffles me how anyone can be so male centered to the point they get pissed off at genderbends. There’s so much normal fanart of Benatar for you to enjoy, i don’t see why giving your negative opinion would ever be necessary lol.

We should be uplifting minority groups rather than pushing them down, it’s unfortunate to see this hate in such a small fandom space. Peace n love always 🪷

For context, in my au, benatar went to college to become an English and music teacher, but threw it away for the band dream. (Bandori reference I was a bandori fanatic before yfm) And ever since I made my au I've been itching to redraw that specific image. ....anyways here's the ref.
