@lesbian-thoughts-dreams
I would like to point out that this moment right here is so cleverly put and genuinely beautiful that it could work for everything people want and need to take from it.
I legitimately cried, because I didn’t only see how a healthy and respectful relationship should work, I also saw a beautiful and respectful way to legitimate and support asexuality, which is something I’ve never seen in a show, especially related to a same sex couple (a lesbian one nonetheless).
As an ace lesbian this means the world to me, because I always have to deal with over-sexualized characters and stories, and though I’m kinda used to it by now, it still bothers me, because I just wish people understood that not everything revolves around sex, and that you can be in a healthy and happy relationship regardless of it involving sex or not, as long as you really love each other.
So, thank you One Day at a Time, you did good.

How to not get overwhelmed
-Remember, you don’t have to look at the whole forest. You don’t even have to look at a whole tree. Focus on the branch, the leaf, the bark. Breaking things down into smaller, manageable tasks is a great way to get started. -Make a list. Divide it between URGENT tasks that must get done, stuff that can wait a few days, and things that you should do, but that can be done at any time. -Setting a time limit with a built in reward can be a great motivator. For example, put the dishes away while the tea kettle boils. Do as many homework problems as you can while you wait for your dinner to heat up -Reach out. Ask others for help. It can be scary, but more often than not, people are grateful to help. People like to feel useful. -Take a deep breath. Take another. Drink some water and open the blinds. Put on fun music. Making your environment welcoming will help get you want to spend time there -Say NO. This one is so hard for so many people. If you feel yourself getting stretched thin, or there’s absolutely no way you can do one more thing, you can say no. Remember you are not responsible for another person’s bad time management. You don’t have to be a “Yes” man to try and please others.

I can’t believe the only tv show that cared about the LGBT community got cancelled. I mean, when it comes to Karmy, it was so messy sometimes but the show deserved better.
Lauren Cooper was the only intersex representation on TV.
Noah is played by a transgender actor.
Amy Raudenfeld refused to put a label on herself.
And she learned to not apologize for taking care or herself.
Wade said something everyone needs to learn.
And everyone screamed at the guy when he said he was asexual. It was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.
SO I HOPE SOMEONE SAVES THIS SHOW.
Because we need more representation. Also, we will never find out if Karma loves Amy in a romantic way.
OR IF AMY IS BISEXUAL OR PANSEXUAL.
RIP FAKING IT ( April 22, 2014 – May 17, 2016 ).
I wish you were what I came home to every night

I’m saying that the skill level is curative. It’s a curative level of sex. It erases pain and fixes things. Last night Carina had me up against the–
I love that they are pushing how much they can mention female sexuality and masturbation and just females having healthy sex. Like god bless grey’s for going there and doing the damn thing

Emmerdale officially has all the LGBT characters
L- Vanessa
G- Aaron
B- Charity, Robert and Debbie
T- Matty
A- Liv
This makes me so happy and proud to call Emmerdale my favourite soap!
so, are you alright with cuddling? yeah, I think so. yeah, I just don’t wanna do that other stuff. well, that’s alright. you don’t have to.
I knew there was a reason I was always drawn to Mavournee, and now it all makes sense. As someone who is also on the asexual spectrum, it means a lot for a celebrity like her to openly identify as demisexual, and at a time when asexuality and the asexual spectrum is still so misunderstood, its especially important for people like her to come out. Her character was part of a massive ship and is really relatable to young people so out of all the Neighbours actors, she is one of the most likely to reach a lot of people and help shape understanding. I’m so proud of her!
