welcome! this is my sideblog for writing & my ocs :] I'm kind of a lurker on writeblr. at the moment I rarely post my own writing on here, but I talk about my ocs a fair amount! I also reblog other people's stuff and some general writing advice I find helpful.

my current active wip is a fantasy story called The Loving Memory. this is what I'm exclusively working on at the moment, I don't really talk about any of my other wips on here currently. my tag for TLM is memory wip & everything oc related is in oc tag. these tags overlap quite a bit because most of the stuff I post about my wip is about my ocs!

I made these picrews for tem & aaria! they're both difficult characters to get right on picrew i think lmao so these don't quite look like them but this was still fun!

I spent way too much time fiddling with these (on my phone no less and with ads all over the fucking screen)

What would happen if your oc lost their powers completely? What would their reaction be?

#aaria would be devastated #its not like she even uses her powers like. at all. but its the fact that they have helped her protect herself #and being a curse witch is a huge part of her identity #even though she doesnt need that power anymore #so yeah she would feel like she's lost her identity and her protection #oc tag #memory wip

#bronwyn #shes confident in general and that extends to her appearance #she doesnt rly care what others think of her she just wants to have fun with her clothes & accessories etc #aaria feels confident in her appearance when she's wearing clothes that make her feel put together & graceful #(i definitely overuse the word graceful when talking abt aaria but its just a good description of her lmao)#farid feels v confident in his appearance when hes performing (hes a dancer)#he might feel insecure right before his performance but when hes actually dancing he gains confidence and feels beautiful🥰#oc tag #memory wip

Tem has been such an elusive character to me I'm having a hard time finding songs but I think if I found even a couple of good ones for her it'd help me flesh her out

last night as I was falling asleep I had the revelation that Tem should be shorter. she was originally 181 cm but I had A Vision that she could even be shorter than Aaria. which I just checked and apparently Aaria is 176 cm according to my notes which is still fairly tall lmao I did not remember that. anyway Tem could be like 170 cm🤔
