Have you had your cup of Café yet? Sorry for the cruddy watercolor, but this was more an experiment to see how my sketchbook handles watercolor. Results are shown above. Good? I swear I took a year in watercolor studies. Eh. I tried. So the prompt for today’s creation is National Coffee Day.

Plot: Yuri decided to surprise Viktor with a fancy coffee. He searched pintrest and YouTube for the perfect recipe and design. He struggles of course to make the perfect cup for his husband (like so many do when they try to craft perfection.) The kitchen is a mess, Yuri burned his thumb while stemming milk and Makkachin insisted that he’d have a taste of whipped cream. In the end, Yuri presents Viktor with the coffee which makes the Russian cry with joy. The end.
