@lesmisconfessions
I wish Hugh Jackman was every Valjean - past, present, and future.
I hate what the fandom has turned Prouvaire into.
im pissed that the movie le mis didnt include lovely ladies in their soundtrack
I can't take people who say "the Les Amis" seriously
Hi I have two lyrics questions I was wondering if you could help me with... why does Javert say it's right Valjean would kill with a knife? What is significant about then knife? Second question - what does "think you're poor, think you're free" mean? Gavroche is trying to show you how his friends are more poor or more free?? I don't get it. These things just bug me so I've love any ideas. Thanks for the great blog
Not too sure about the knife comment, but leaving this to others who might want to input. As for Gavroche, I took it to mean that 1) If they think they’re free, they’re not, and if they want to be free and no longer poor, follow him.
What do you think of the Les Mis from 1998? And specifically Marius in that version?
To be honest anon, I couldn’t even bring myself to finish that movie. I think I turned it off sometime right before Fantine’s death. Wish I could help!
I know it’ll be hard - but my dream role is to play Eponine on West End.
I cannot believe there aren't more Valvert shippers...
EnjolrASS
After reading a number of Les Mis confessions and seeing how many girls are devastated that, because of their gender, they can’t play one of the barricade boys, I now really want to see an all-female cast of Les Mis. Not girls playing the boys, but changing all the characters to female. I understand that it probably wouldn’t make any sense in the context, but if people of all races are allowed to play the characters, so should an all-female cast be allowed.
I feel like the whole fandom puts Eponine on such a high pedestal, but really I don't see anything about her other than "oh no I was put in the friendzone now my life is terrible"
this fandom is 156 years old. everyone is a latecomer
as a small child (my Dad got me into Les Mis aged 7), my favourite song was Lovely Ladies. I didn't figure out what it was about until much later.
Anyone would have been happy to be cast in Les Miserables, and Nick Jonas is no exception. He might not be as good as other actors, but hating him for him allegedly not being “good enough”is just hurtful. He doesn’t deserve that.
Aaron Tveit is a fucking hot Enjolras don’t @ me on this
hey is this still active because i really hope it is because les mis never deserves to be abandoned
We are officially back from the dead!
I wish Disney made Les Miz. I would love to see the characters traditionally animated rather than CGI and I don’t care if the movie is so childish.
