It's the way that Acheswanstance all go by their aliases and not their real names...

Black Swan renamed herself when she became a Memokeeper (she's also the only one out of the three whose real name wasn't revealed), Acheron is Raiden Bossenmori Mei, and Constance goes by "the Dahlia" when she became playable.

The day that people realize that Acheron is the most normal person between her, Black Swan and Constance is the day I find peace.

Yes, she's literally an Emanator, her memories are horrors beyond comprehension and she's a skilled swordswoman who can kill you with one strike, but that woman has been nothing but kind, earnest and helpful, even with being a representative of the nihility. She still finds purpose in life and encourages others to make due with that purpose.

Swan may seem cordial and apparently "still pure" compared to other members of the Garden of Recollection (Evernight's account), but she's still sketchy and shrouded in mystery (a tad bit of a liar too). Don't get even get me started with Constance, her whole deal with finding thrill from betraying other factions speak for itself. (Love all three of them either way, I need them to put me inside their circle of sapphic shame)

I feel like the reason why part of the TWST fanbase is so adamant with denying that Silver is Aurora is because of how Aurora herself is perceived negatively by many for her limited presence in her movie, noting her off for her passiveness.

Even though it's been established since day one that Silver IS Aurora, there's a subconscious thinking stemmed from the people who've criticized her as a character (those who haven't seen Sleeping Beauty in ages or at all, or just personally didn't vibe with her), as well as Silver's loading screen coffin being the sword of truth, and the fact that TWST is NOT subtle about the hints. (it can get irritating sometimes because Silver's whole thing is that he SHOULDN'T be defined by his inspiration, I get that. But some peeps are way too dense to the point of acting like the inspiration doesn't exist.)

And really, I couldn't blame the people who've thought of Silver as the sword at first (thanks Epel), but to deny Silver from his Aurora motifs diminishes both characters' established background. The latter especially because despite the 18 minute screentime, she's not as bland as people make her out to be. That is a girl who loves her aunts but is conflicted with stepping out of their sight for her dreams, and even at the face of being separated from the first connection she had outside of them, she chose to fulfill her duty even at the cost of her happiness. HOW CAN THAT NOT BE SIMILAR (IF NOT A LITERAL TWIST) TO WHAT SILVER HAD GONE THROUGH???

I am kinda glad that the people who acknowledged Silver's inspirations have sparked a re-evaluation of Aurora's character, though. I truly adore both individually and I could ramble about them as much as I can.

My (PERSONAL!!!!!!) thoughts on the first two RSA guys

Rielle - Precious sunshine son of mine, he's a lovable mess and very whimsical. He would sooooo love oshikatsu culture and have a thingamabob ita bag. Very intrigued to see more of his dynamic with Azul because Rielle is very stoked to see him (even tho Azul... Not so much-)

Minajael - I... Really don't feel strongly for him, like how I feel about the movie he's inspired from (I really dislike Aladdin, sorry). And his name???? Sure TWST names have always been ridiculous, but at least Kalim and Jamil's first names were respectable. And as cool as his design looks from the surface level, it's still orientalism in the end of the day (transparent jacket sleeves and crop top to mimick Jasmine's insanely disrespectful outfit) Nothing surprising, really. (I won't elaborate further on this as I am not from the regions these awfully depicted cultures are from) I can say it's kinda cool that he can see through Jamil thinking of him as a spoiled prince, I guess...

I know we like joking about Lilia being remembered in history classes and him whistling from the back about it, but I feel like people forget that not everything about Briar Valley is made public to all of Twisted Wonderland. It's always been a mysterious country, but even its citizens didn't know about the major historical details even if they tried.

How does the modern day fae see Lilia as a historical figure anyway? Are there even any other fae aside from the Senate, Maleficia and the Zigvolts who know about all that happened 400 years ago?

Whose to say that the Briar Valley Senate didn't have a hand with tampering Lilia's name by making him out as this filthy traitor who let their princess die in vain? Then again, Maleficia took in Lilia herself, and I doubt she'd let them badmouth someone she trusted, given how she dealt with Malleus' situation. (But she's one for keeping up appearances like nothing happened, so she must've omitted that from both the Valley's citizens and the outside world)

I kinda need more of canon Disney characters appearing unprovoked in Twisted Wonderland, like Mickey and Stitch. Vanellope von Schweetz can glitch her way into NRC and the boys will be beefing with this sassy lost child.

So today's my birthday! :D

I have nothing to post, but I just wanna thank all my followers for all my art and yapping. The month hasn't been kind to me and I've spent the last two weeks on a very miserable episode, yet I've been nothing but grateful to all who appreciate my art and yapping.

I'm going to better myself and learn how to be independent. It won't be easy, but it doesn't hurt to try.
