reyna likes the routine they have of post-meeting hot cocoa and coffee. they were still praetor and ambassador, peacetime doesn’t change that. but their weekly conferences are hardly as formal as they were before gaea’s defeat. the war had changed them, for worse in some ways but in some ways for better. it had forged a friendship between them, and reyna is thankful for that.

camp matters are discussed quickly, glossed over in favor of catching up about their week, which digresses into casual conversation; nico talks about the boys he maybe likes and reyna talks about girls, nico will tell her in great detail the plot of the movie he just watched, and reyna laments the amount of work she still has ahead of her. it’s nice to have someone to confide in and even if reyna will sometimes tease, it’s never with any malice, and when nico inevitably tells her he trusts her, reyna always replies, “ your secret is safe with me. “

not to start trouble but guilting a person in an anonymous ask attempting to obligate their kindness to you is a shitty manipulation tactic. if you feel excluded by people it’s your responsibility to either communicate what the issue is on your behalf that makes you feel like getting less attention is the responsibility or fault of other people OR log off until you can find a way to decompress and make yourself feel less like vagueing or sending baby behavior asks is the solution to a problem that you’re accountable to fix.

i deeply understand feeling left out or unwelcome in a roleplay community it’s a lousy feeling but it also tends to be self-inflicted by our own bad experiences or anxiety and we have responsibilities to take care of our own insecurity and not depend on the validation of others/much less attempt to GUILT them into it.

if you want to like……. be a big baby in nat’s ask box can you at least be upfront about being a big baby who likes to manipulate people into assuaging your insecurity problems away
