Idk why, but for some reason, my mind just got this absolute crack theory relating SCP to Lethal, and if anyone would appreciate it, it would be you.
Embrion was used to test weaponry, and something(like a very stong nuke) caused some of the entities to mutate. 682 is a mutated Spore Lizard(they cannot be killed, and IIRC in the vacuum test 682 DID release gas, which could be the "spores"), 035 is a mutated masked, 173 is a mutated coil head.
I was tired and it was shower thoughts lol
OOOOHHHH INTERESTING!!!
I'm yappin for a long while here so be prepared
At first I thought "OH YOU'RE SO REAL FOR THAT!" but a side by side comparison it uh...
682 has a more "cow"-esq skull. In apprarence it's something more akin to a comodo dragon or perhaps a goanna? Maybe it's just zeekers' style though.
I then thought "oh, maybe it mutated with another animal? Maybe a baboon hawk, that would kinda explain the skull!" But aren't spore lizards a bunker monsters?
About the mask, YES I HAVE compared them and I 100% would believe that it's some mutated or even some evolved comedy mask. They might as well be the same thing. (Sort of.)
035 has a dark substance that oozes out of them and disolves anything that comes into contact with it. Dark substance?!? You mean the stuff the mimics throw up when transforming a player in lethal company?!?!?
035 also effects peoples minds into getting them to wear it. NOW LOOK ME IN THE EYES AND TELL ME IT'S NOT GONNA BE FUNNY IF YOU PUT THE MASK ON.
Might as well be mind control.
Now, for 173... hmmm...
I gotta say, I think 173 feels more like prototype of the coil heads than anything. Like how the old birds use audio-based phsycological attacks. (The baby crying noises it playes and other disturbing noises.) The coil heads appear to be taking a visual approach.
You HAVE to be staring at it, this incomplete, mutilated thing resembling the human form. You MUST keep it in your line of sight, and if you don't it takes your head and arms, before imbedding a spring in your neck.
Terrifying.
And you KNOW for a FACT it's following you because of the spring on its head, wobbling each time you look back. Its feet hitting the concrete in a speed too fast to be human.
I've seen multiple people say that coil heads are an infinitely more scary version of the whole "wheeping angel" concept, so again, coil heads feel like a complete version of whatever 173 is.
Also context to the comic where Rookie is scanning the facility and Rookie stealing the coffee vending machine is that all the anomalous objects are worth A LOT. Hence Rookie trying to bring the vending machine back to the company.
Also Also the backroom's dude is now called Samuel. For lore reasons... he also acts a little differently than draft dude does. I imagine them as seperate people.
