he visits her in the fade, shortly after he vanishes and she undergoes the joining. they don’t speak, and she barely sees him, but she knows he’s there.
as long as they’ve known each other, she’s always been able to tell when he’s there — and he’s always been there for her. with her.
so when she walks the fade at night and senses someone walking beside her, keeping pace with her just the way he always did, she feels a little safer, a bit comforted, even though something about his presence is not quite right. she’s missed him, and so she doesn’t think too hard.
over time, his presence becomes… worse. darker. jarring, instead of comforting. she doesn’t want to tell him to leave her alone, but she becomes afraid of him, of what’s happening to him.
when she no longer feels him beside her, she isn’t sure whether she’s relieved or heartbroken. he’s lost, she knows.
that night she’s pulled from her sleep by shrieks attacking the camp.

I think this anon has to ask themselves why is it so important to them that this character has light skin. The artist is defending representation of poc people, which is lacking. Poc are erased by white washing all the time while there is plenty of white representation.

does anon not realize, too, that bioware whitewashed their own character and he WAS dark in ME1, which is what you based your drawing off of?

does nonny not realize that Singapore IS an asian country?

in the previous ask you said that kaidan’s mother wasn’t from singapore and stated that as a fact, so of course i’m going to assume that you do believe that kaidan isn’t a poc. i’m glad to know i was wrong about that.
and i didn’t make him black. yes, i made his skin tone darker by a few shades i’m not about to deny that but in no way made him completely black. as i said before, i will remember to constantly portray characters correctly in the future.
kaidan's mother wasn't from singapore she was in singapore while pregnant with kaidan please get your facts straight before preaching them as law, we have no knowledge of his parents other than that they live/lived in canada
oh my goodness why are people so intent on making kaidan white?
the wiki says that kaidan’s mother was in singapore while pregnant. the most logical explanation to that is because she is singaporean.
please stop trying to find every single loophole that could keep kaidan from being a poc
