why are there so many people who think t4c relationships can only ever be terrible and evil with the poor trans victim and the big dangerous cis abuser. they’ll either never see you as a “real man/woman” or they’re a chaser and fetishizing your transness.

I’m not saying these things don’t happen but it’s not a guarantee with just being with a cis person. like yes it’s okay and good to be aware of red flags that could present in a t4c relationship but can we stop fear-mongering and telling trans people dating cis people that they’ll always just be victims to their cis partner.
